Purchasing this generator was similar to putting up a magical ward against power failures. Where the original motivation was a frequent number of outages, we’ve not had any single outage since installation. In it’s standby configuration it’s met our expectations.

This is our second Generac generator because, after 19 years with our first one, we wanted to upgrade to one with more current features/functions. Our first one was purchased in Sept. 2007. It gave us optimal, quality, and dependable service. It is still working today, in another household, with a family whom we gave it to. We look forward to and are confident that we will have the same level of quality service with our recent new upgraded generator!

4 years after Hurricane Ian it was time to replace a portable 5kw generator with a whole home generator. We will now be able to have the entire house on standby power should another major outage occur. Being familiar with the Generac company based in Wisconsin, this was the only generator considered.

Have had this generator for a year. Had to have a faulty emergency switch replaced (under warranty). I've put about 11 hours on it. It's able to power everything in my 2500 sq/ft house (A/C, Heat, oven, dryer) all appliances with no issues.

Just completed year two annual maintenance. Generator has activated reliably 5 times over the past two years and powered my home without any issues. Propane usage seems very efficient.

This is what we needed for complete peace of mind. Starts automatically (we don’t have to be home), notifies us of status, and let’s deal know if there are any issues so they can plan to service the unit (we don’t need to figure it out and call them). Keeps our life simple and worry free.

We purchased a NextGen 24kW w/transfer switch about a month ago and have already had utility power interruptions twice. The system operated seamlessly. We are very happy with the purchase, installation, and its operation.

The unit was installed on a Friday and we lost commercial power for 23 minutes the following Monday. The unit operated flawlessly! The only drawback I’ve found is the inability to see realtime unit loading and voltage in the Mobile Link app.

We’ve only had it for 3 weeks but so far so good. We haven’t had to use it yet. So far the weekly maintenance exercise has been great.

I bought this a month ago and it’s still not working properly. It runs for 15 seconds and then shuts off. After five cycles of this it stops altogether. They are still trying to figure out the issue. I am happy to review again once it works properly.
