Very convenient and easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this grain and rice cooker a few times for rice and quinoa and it was very easy and fast. It makes cooking different grains very easy and convenient as it measures how much water you need by itself. It’s also easy to clean and can keep the cooked grain warm for many hours. Overall, I recommend this grain and rice cooker for easy cooking.

Perfectly cooked and healthier options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for a few weeks and I really like it. I’ve made brown rice twice, medium grain white rice, and lentils so far. Everything turns out really well. I especially struggle making brown rice that is fully cooked but not mushy, and the cooker makes it perfectly. Looking forward to trying some of the other grains and beans.

This easy to use rice/grain cooker excels at cooki

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently received a free rice/grain cooker thanks to Influenster via KitchenAid. Well this rice cooker has quickly become a kitchen favorite! It excels at cooking jasmine rice- turning out perfectly every time. The cooker is incredibly easy to use, with intuitive settings that make the process a breeze. One of my favorite features is its ability to prevent overfilling. If you accidently add too much grains, the cooker alerts you, ensuring tou never go over the limit. It also checks the evenness of the grain distribution, notifying you if things aren’t quite right, which helps in consistent cooking. However, when cooking beans, make sure to always soak them first! Without soaking, the beans may not cook thoroughly, but once soaked the cooker handles them well. Overall, this rice/grain cooker is a fantastic and user friendly appliance, especially for those who like to set and leave when cooking and if you love perfectly cooked rice every time. The helpful alerts for overfilling and uneven grains make it a foolproof option.

Good but keep clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good little device, the starches from the rice have to be washed out really well or the starches are going to get all over the reflective finish on the lid. Also releases a lot a lot of steam all at once towards the end so keep away from cabinetry. Other than that, easy to clean and easy to maneuver the controls

Cooker is very practical and convenient for small portions of grains/rices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed this appliance! I have used several times since receiving it and am a huge fan. I love that it measures the accurate amount of water as this is always something I had difficulty keeping consistent with my previous rice maker. ⁩I also love that it can be used with various grains.

Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a rice cooker that's older than I am, so this was a wonderful surprise. You're not limited to just rice with this appliance, and you can even use it for dry beans and lentils, you name it! I've used it for different types of rice and quinoa so far, and it's great. Now I only need to test it for the steaming option but I love my new rice cooker.

Life changing. Better than indoor plumbing

I was the worst at cooking rice, hear me out. I got three kids that all love rice, it’s like rice is a fad with young kids right now. I was sad when I saw their little faces asking for rice, I’m like sorry kids dad sucks at rice. Well not anymore, it’s amazing how many meals you can make quick and easy with a rice base or side. It’s honestly changed my dinner game. Even easy stuff cheesy rice or just rice with soy sauce( my daughter loves that). Oh yea, this thing can do way more than rice. All kinds of beans and grains. It’s pricey but trust me, it makes the most amazing perfect fluffy rice. Do not hesitate on this. It’s worth every penny. I just wish I knew where I could get a replacement/backup liner.

Innovative cooker that could use a few improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start with the good! I’ve never owned a rice cooker, so please take that into consideration. I’ve owned this now for a little over a month and I’ve become accustomed to all its little quirks and features. The fact that this machine weighs out your food, distributes the amount of water you need, and even pre-cleans itself…is just SO convenient and innovative. It tells you the exact amount of time everything will take to cook. It has a steaming basket that you can cook veggies in (at the same time as your grains too). There are many, many options that cover most popular grains, beans, rice etc. You can also cook with different liquids, but I haven’t tried this yet. I use it most often to make rice, oatmeal, and quinoa. It cooked my regular rolled oats and steel cut oats almost perfectly. The rice, not quite how I’d like. So now let’s get into its quirks/downsides. It’s bulky. Like take up an entire area of your counter bulky. You can’t have under a certain amount of food in it. So if you’re trying to make single-serve portions of something, this isn’t the gadget for you. Secondly, I haven’t quite figured out how to get it to cook basmati rice without it being on the dry side. Hopefully there’s some firmware update for that. The machine also says that if you put your food in first you can level out the scale by lifting it for three seconds. This doesn’t work. It glitches out and won’t weigh your food at that point. So just wait for it to tell you when to put in the food. Lastly, there aren’t really any instructions for how to steam things. It’s kind of like a guessing game 😅 All in all, I still really like this and I envision myself using it for a while! My biggest complaint is how much counter space it takes up lol

Best Machine Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine! I have been making hummus from scratch using the cooker to make garbanzo beans from dried. The end product is way better than using canned beans or the store bought hummus. Our rice is perfect every time. We have also been making way more ancient grains than before. Being able to set things up and have things cook right before I get home is a huge bonus. I love this machine so much that I bought one for my daughter.

Modern, versatile, and an elegant, effective gadge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kitchenAid grain and rice cooker has definitely been an essential addition to my kitchen. Its versatility and ease of use help me save time when cooking. I’ve made everything from perfectly restaurant-style rice and tender vegetables to flavorful beans and even a delicious oatmeal to brighten my mornings. I also have to highlight its minimalist, modern, and elegant design, which has added a stylish touch to a special corner of my kitchen. Its capacity is perfect for different needs, whether cooking for a simple meal or larger portions. I highly recommend it for all these reasons, as well as for its durable build and easy-to-clean and safety design
