The unboxing was easy and exciting as I couldn’t wait to see what this grain and rice cooker was about. What I learned after use was that this small kitchen appliance is a great addition to the other useful gadgets I own. It’s quite beautiful and very easy to use. I have small appliances of this brand and love them. The product is elite and in a class of its own. I own another grands rice cooker and it pales in comparison to this product. There are few pieces which make it easy to clean and put back after use. The rice I made to try it out came out perfect and fluffy as I hoped it would. I can’t wait to see what all I can make especially since it included a cookbook. This small appliance will assist me in m the healthy eating lifestyle. If you like appliances that will simplify and enhance your cooking experience then run!, don’t walk to get this product.

I shouldn’t have worried, because the design is not only innovative but incredibly user-friendly. It has delivered perfect rice every time. This is an incredible addition to my kitchen and makes preparing meals with rice so much easier. The instruction booklet that is included with the appliance is super helpful. I don’t eat a lot of grains, but I am certain it would cook them nicely as well based on my great experience with the rice. I have always had great experiences with the KitchenAid brand, and this rice cooker reinforces their reputation for quality kitchen appliances. Incredibly thankful I had the opportunity to try this product.

As someone who practices a Mediterranean diet, the ability to cook a variety of beans and grains to a variety of textures (soft, firm, regular) is awesome. This is going to be my meal prep best friend. I just made some steel cut oats and they were absolutely perfectly done. The machine is touch screen, it walks you through each step, weighs your grains, adds the perfect amount of water, time varies for desired texture, and ends with a pleasant chime when your food is ready. There is a progress bar on the screen while your food is cooking. You have the ability to delay cooking or keep warm which is nice if you want to prep in the morning for dinner. There is also an included steam basket and the machine can function as a steamer for veggies while you cook your grains. I appreciate the aesthetics of this machine, it looks good on my counter and can easily be stored in a lower cabinet or pantry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main reason I made the purchase was to avoid stove-top spill-over messes when steaming rice. After trying various settings and options offered when making rice - manual or automatic, rinsed or not, I have found the KitchenAid does an excellent job with rice, although I'm still looking to obtain slightly more stickiness in the cooked rice. It does require about 16 minutes more time than my gas stove stop preparation when making rice; and, more time for steaming vegetables than with my conventional electric steamer too. But I like the results. I like no mess. I like "turn it on, walk away" too. I'm looking forward to cooking beans. It has a compact footprint. It sits under the overhead cabinet nicely. I give it a 4.8 rating - slightly less than full 5 stars only because the cooking time of the unit is a bit slow - 35 minutes to cook a cup of white rice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very unique cooker that takes out the guesswork in how much water to use to make perfect rice. The machine has a touchscreen where you can select what type of grain you are cooking. I tried the preset function for rinsed jasmine rice and the rice came out great! The cooker measures the weight and adds the necessary amount of water. The included inner pot is non-stick and removable. I do wish it was made from stainless steel as the non-stick coating may wear over time. The cooker also comes with a steamer basket with a handle in the center; this is to allow the water to flow into the rice cooker as the water source comes from the center of the lid. I usually like to steam a side dish in a plate while cooking rice so this design does get in the way of that. Overall, it’s an impressive cooker and offers a unique function.

Its has multiple setting for rice, grains, and beans and it cooks all of them in under an hour. The first thing i made in it was Spanish rice and it literally came out perfect! The water dispensers mesures the water out for you, so no more over cooked rice. I never knew that i needed a rice cooker in my life until now!
