[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's easy to use and tun to use since it's a unique design. It says you can cook 8 cups of rice the reason my husband convinced me to get this rice cooker but apparently it I put 3½ cup of rice it's still cook fully but not as soft of the texture of the rice I wanted. 3 cups is perfect for my Asian preferences for my rice. So this is perfect for small family but if you are asian and going to ha e a party and gonna serve rice this would not be the best option to use since cooking the rice probably take 30 mins or so and it will only cook 3 cups of rice if you want your rice perfectly soft.

Stylish rice coooner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this rice and grain cooker. So far l've only used it for rice, but I love not having to measure how much water to put in as the water tank does the measuring for you based on weight. I love that it comes with its own water tank. The appliance itself is smaller than what I expected but works for me. It looks so sleek and pretty on the counter stop. The technology is amazing and it comes with a steam basket as well.

Very good rice cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker is a valuable tool for those who frequently prepare a variety of grains and beans. Its automated features and preset options simplify the cooking process, delivering consistent and reliable results. While it comes with a higher price point and a few limitations, its performance and convenience make it a worthwhile investment for many home cooks.

Simple and elegant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this appliance in exchange for my honest review. The unboxing was easy and exciting as I couldn’t wait to see what this grain and rice cooker was about. What I learned after use was that this small kitchen appliance is a great addition to the other useful gadgets I own. It’s quite beautiful and very easy to use. I have small appliances of this brand and love them. The product is elite and in a class of its own. I own another grands rice cooker and it pales in comparison to this product. There are few pieces which make it easy to clean and put back after use. The rice I made to try it out came out perfect and fluffy as I hoped it would. I can’t wait to see what all I can make especially since it included a cookbook. This small appliance will assist me in m the healthy eating lifestyle. If you like appliances that will simplify and enhance your cooking experience then run!, don’t walk to get this product.

Very DRY results. Does not work as described.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Grain and Rice Cooker was a good idea, but does NOT work as described. It consistently does NOT use enough water, leaving the cooked dish very dry. Because of this, I use the 'soft' setting, which adds more water in the cooking process for a better normal result. In some cases, there are some uncooked rice/grains, so I've had to add additional water after the cook cycle is complete. On the plus side: The program-ahead feature is convenient.

Perfectly fluffy rice coming to you from the futur

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice cooker is living in the future! You don’t even need to measure the rice, it weighs it and then adds the correct amount of water on its own. It’s a breeze to use and the rice comes out perfectly. It also has settings for a variety of other grains and beans, I can’t wait to test it out more with different recipes.

Best Rice/Grain Cooker! Great Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago after moving into my new house. I wanted a new rice cooker. I did some research and decided on the Kitcchen Aid grain & rice cooker. I like it will automatically adjust the amount of water I need depending on the amount of rice I put in. The water compartment is clear sturdy plastic so I can see when the water is getting low. It doesn't just cook rice. I like various multi grains Arthur’s Flours. Now I don't need to use the double boiler so the don't get burn. I get distracted & forget I have something on the stove. Usually why, I have to do one task at a time. With the Kitchen Aid grain and rice cooker I don't have to worry about the rice and grains getting burnt. I can soaked my beans or rice up to 2 hours. The rice is nice and fluffy and stays warm for 6 hours. You have to clean the rice and beans before puttingin in the rice cooker. It is not a rice or bean cleaner. I like the 21 presets for the grain and rice. I can program it 24 hr ahead for delicious cereal or my different rices I like to eat. It has a small insert to steam vegetable. I tried some broccoli and cauliflower, it worked well. I am happy I bought it.

Innovative cooker that could use a few improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start with the good! I’ve never owned a rice cooker, so please take that into consideration. I’ve owned this now for a little over a month and I’ve become accustomed to all its little quirks and features. The fact that this machine weighs out your food, distributes the amount of water you need, and even pre-cleans itself…is just SO convenient and innovative. It tells you the exact amount of time everything will take to cook. It has a steaming basket that you can cook veggies in (at the same time as your grains too). There are many, many options that cover most popular grains, beans, rice etc. You can also cook with different liquids, but I haven’t tried this yet. I use it most often to make rice, oatmeal, and quinoa. It cooked my regular rolled oats and steel cut oats almost perfectly. The rice, not quite how I’d like. So now let’s get into its quirks/downsides. It’s bulky. Like take up an entire area of your counter bulky. You can’t have under a certain amount of food in it. So if you’re trying to make single-serve portions of something, this isn’t the gadget for you. Secondly, I haven’t quite figured out how to get it to cook basmati rice without it being on the dry side. Hopefully there’s some firmware update for that. The machine also says that if you put your food in first you can level out the scale by lifting it for three seconds. This doesn’t work. It glitches out and won’t weigh your food at that point. So just wait for it to tell you when to put in the food. Lastly, there aren’t really any instructions for how to steam things. It’s kind of like a guessing game 😅 All in all, I still really like this and I envision myself using it for a while! My biggest complaint is how much counter space it takes up lol

I just love this rice cooker and will try other functions that it can do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooking performance for this rice cooker is great. The versatility is awesome because you not only cook rice it can steam vegetables, fish, etc , soak beans as well. It is so easy to clean, plus very durable. It doesn't have any specific safety features when i used it but my rice came out great.
