The toaster is attractive, easy to use, and appears well made. Would have given 5 stars, but initially the levers would not stay down. However, the levers just need a little more finesse, rather than just pushing down. And, there’s a light that comes on when they are in the correct position.

This 4-slices dual control GE Toaster does the job right, every time, and its simplicity & predictability combined with the base price makes it one of the best toaster I have ever acquired. Simple click and go. Easy to clean. MOdern look on the counter. Kaching!

The quality of this toaster is fantastic. The appearance is stunning. The features are very easy to work with. The value was just right for my pocketbook. Overall, it's 5 stars. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fantastic choice when we needed a replacement toaster. As a family of four we need a bigger toaster, but also the buttons on the side make it easy for the teenagers to use it as well for their bagels.

Looks great for a toaster..it catches my eye often. The selection knobs are well made, they have a subtle click between choices which when you set the knobs it stays put until you change it. Stays clean except for random crumbs which are easily wiped off after use. Fingerprints wipe right off. No major cleaning involved at all. I will have this toaster for years.

After years using a toaster oven, I had to downsize to a toaster after we moved and my countertop space was limited. I searched for a long time and looked at many different products. I own GE appliances in my kitchen and my washer and dryer, a GE toaster was my first consideration… But I wanted to weigh it against other products. So very glad that I stuck with the GE brand. It has been reliable and toasts to perfection. So glad I purchased it. I will always stick with GE!

It has been very difficult to find a toaster that toasts items evenly on both sides. Trying several different companies and models at home, we were very frustrated that something as simple as toast was so difficult to create. Well, right out of the box; perfectly browned on both sides of the bread!

This toaster is great. I had just bought another toaster in January that I was just trying to make due. It just didn't toast evenly. After going to my daughter's vacation home where she had a GE toaster-2 slicer, I decided to go ahead and purchase this one. It works wonderful. It is my only choice now for a toaster and everyone knows it.

Horrible toaster. I've had it for about a year and it takes forever to toast a slice of bread! I got the similar Cuisinart for my son and it's a much better choice. I have a whole kitchen of Monogram appliances that I love. GE should stick to large appliances.

The design was very nice but that’s not what toasts the bread. In fact nothing about this toaster toasted bread. From the first use, on the highest setting, the only indication that the bread had been in the toaster was its warmth and dryness. No “toasted” color whatsoever. I returned it. Disappointed in GE as I have been a repeat consumer for 40+ years. If you can’t design a decent toaster why should I buy GE appliances?
