I was forced to purchase a new toaster when my Cusinieart toaster failed, after only having it for one year. Finally, after many searches and reading review, I landed on the GE Stainless Steel toaster. I was not aware GE had a toaster line! Not only does it toast my bagels and muffins to perfection, it's also nice and sleek and it perfectly matches all of my other appliances and kitchen color scheme. Needless to say the functionality is excellent, it's an ideal small kitchen appliance made by the experts. Thank you GE!

This is the second one of these that I've bought! The first was a Christmas gift for my in-laws. I did a lot of research and landed on buying this one. They enjoyed it so much that when it came time for us to get one for our house, I knew which one to buy! My parents are wanting one now too after seeing ours, so there might be three of these toasters in our family!

the pop up spring is week . doesn't pop up all the way . I don't know if mine is defective or there all like that I'm thinking all because it's like that on both sides . I'll probably take it apart and put new springs in but real you had to go for a cheep spring . Makes me think the whole thing was made cheaply . I'm 65 and I know thing aren't made to last anymore but there is a point when it's just made to cheaply . Oh is this under warranty please let me know .

I got this toaster as a gift, to replace an old one. It's a beautiful design. It's a little slow to toast, compared to other toasters I've had, but that's okay. I think it's a little slow because I like my toast light, and so it goes slow so as not to burn it. It does a great job on that. I love it!

Finally had to get a new toaster after 20 years and noticed the great brand name and design of this toaster. It is very affordable and will look nice with my stainless steel appliances in my new kitchen. I know several people who have recommended GE products and I have several.

I have been searching for a good toaster for months now! I thought this was it. It's super sleek looking and sturdy - but unfortunately it does not get the bread darker - had to do each slice twice - regardless of which setting I used. I ended up returning it. Search continues!

Have had our toaster about a week and absolutely love it! It is definitely aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Most importantly, we love the wide openings for the bread and it works great! We like sourdough and sometimes has been difficult to toast, but not with this toaster! Good value too!!

We went from a 2-slice toaster to this one. The stainless steel look is really nice, with the housing and buttons/slide also stainless steel. The outside of the toaster stays cools irrespective of how many slices you're toasting. The top of the toaster, however, and to be expected, is very hot. So, keep your hands away from the stainless steel on the top of the unit. When you toast, the Cancel button will illuminate in the event you need to stop the toasting process before completion. Two additional buttons, Bagel and Frozen, also illuminate if you chose one of them. All in all, we are enjoying this toaster and believe it is deserving of a 5-star review.

This is a good toaster and it looks good, too. I like the choice of settings and the size of the slots. I do find that it has to be cranked up to a high setting to get a nice toasty product but I guess that leaves lots of options for other times. Also, I know I need to get used to it. My previous different brand one was 0 to burn at low settings!

This toaster is awesome. I bought it to match all of the rest of the brand new GE products that I got in a kitchen appliance package deal. It works best for my elderly father, and my younger cousins. We all love the fact that you can use the lever and lift it up a decent amount where you do not get burned and it's stays there to retrieve whatever item you just got done toasting. Great product highly recommended.
