Tried it out with one slice of bread, not even toasting (not hardly toasted on the other side) Tried the other three slots, same thing. Lousy product, looks nice!

I was forced to purchase a new toaster when my Cusinieart toaster failed, after only having it for one year. Finally, after many searches and reading review, I landed on the GE Stainless Steel toaster. I was not aware GE had a toaster line! Not only does it toast my bagels and muffins to perfection, it's also nice and sleek and it perfectly matches all of my other appliances and kitchen color scheme. Needless to say the functionality is excellent, it's an ideal small kitchen appliance made by the experts. Thank you GE!

I just purchased the GE oven range and flat top stove, so why not get the GE toaster and this toaster is elegant like my stove/oven range , I’m very impressed by how good my stove is and can’t wait to use my toaster when I make breakfast on a Sunday morning and can have some good toast along!!

We like our toast to be toasted. We found that the lower settings do barely anything at all. There are 7 settings and the first five settings hardly touch our wheat bread. Settings 1 to 5 might work if you use soft white bread, but for multigrain or dark bread we keep it on 6. Love that it holds 4 slices without taking up too much extra space.

Works awesome and toasts super evenly. I really like having the increased capacity for weekend breakfasts. I would recommend to anyone looking for a sleet simple design, reliable toaster.

Easy to remove and replace crumb trays. 4-Slice Toaster works like two toasters in one unit with independent settings for each set of 2 slots. Great for quicker making of toast when you have visitors.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.. I was the friend in need.. and this toaster with all of its sparkly gadgets was my friend indeed after using it for the first time today! After moving into a new home, the last thing I'd ever think about replacing would be my trusty toaster of over (20 years).. yes.. that long. The GE toaster really outdid itself. The perfect browning setting for my toaster strudels. My bread stood no chance it was TOAST. AH YES. THIS TOASTER WAS A PRICEY GIFT FROM THE GODS. But it was worth it! Thanks so much!

Our toaster arrived on time, well packaged. It's actually nicer looking than it appears in the ad. So far it has toasted everything we've put in it easily and well. It handles thicker items (e.g. bagels) with ease. It's a nice step uf for our family.

I used this toaster for all types and shapes of breads at different settings: hamburger buns, hot dog buns, brioche, wheat, multigrain, white, bagels, English muffins, even sweet Hawaiian. It toasted all fairly evenly. The bagel setting works well for all bun types. Be aware that sweet breads require a lower setting. I don’t use the frozen button, but I tried it for this review. It works. This toaster is a good everyday family toaster. It’s also easy to clean and after one month of daily use, no issues.

Have had our toaster about a week and absolutely love it! It is definitely aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Most importantly, we love the wide openings for the bread and it works great! We like sourdough and sometimes has been difficult to toast, but not with this toaster! Good value too!!
