I really didn't need directions. It looks ok; it's a little cheap feeling with so much bulky plastic. I am impressed with the sucking ability for any floor type (I have hardwood, tile, and carpet). Like this thing SUCKS and feels adhered to the ground. I was pretty disgusted with what it got up and I had just used my regular vacuum the day before. I have 2 cats, a dog, and 2 messy toddlers. This was great for open flooring areas but the head is pretty bulky and not great for going under couch/ bookshelf, around tables, etc. I like the different options for flooring but I do not like the placement of the adjustment knob on the head. It was kind of annoying to keep bending down to change the suction type. I wish it was on the handle. I used the extension wand for under my bed (hardwood) and it did do a good job. I wish it had a little light at the end but I made do with my phone. I liked the brush option for this because it got all the car hair "tumbleweeds." Overall this is a good quality vacuum but there are a few design changes that would make it 5/5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this upright vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.] This is a solid upright vacuum. It's not too heavy (I can pick it up with one hand, not for too long though) and easy to maneuver. It's very easy to assemble-took me less than 5 minutes. It can be used on both hard floor and carpet and the head doesn't need to be switched, which is nice. It has 5 different levels of suction. Although I didn't feel the suction power was particularly stronger than any other vacuums. The cord is long, so I didn't have to constantly unplug and plug unless I was going to the next room. It comes with a pet head for cleaning pet hair of fabric, which is nice, although I was not sure if it's better than other fabric cleaning heads that are not specifically for "pet hair cleaning". We have a cat and a big German shepherd who sheds like crazy and the vacuum worked fine for us, with mostly hard floor and just a few area rugs. A few things I didn't like about the vacuum: 1. It's not a small size, I'd need to find storage for it and it feels like a "task" to just pull it out to use. Also, although it's not heavy, I did feel like I had a light work out after pushing it all around the house. 2. It's not very easy to put it back to the upright position, I needed to pay extra attention to make sure the bottom "clicks". I've never had this problem with other vacuums before, not sure if it's only the unit I received. Small thing but annoying. 3. The cord is long which is nice but it sometimes gets in the way of cleaning. But this is true for all upright vacuums. 4. I don't like how you have to put your hand in the dust bin to remove the filter. After 1 or 2 use, the dust bin will get very dirty and I don't feel like to sticking my hand in there!!! Overall, it's a solid vacuum, I'd consider buying it, especially when I have pets at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've really enjoyed using this vacuum so far. My house has a long haired cat and double coated dog, so we are in a constant battle with pet hair. This vacuum did an amazing job on our carpet, tile, and rugs. My favorite feature is the pet hair attachment for furniture. It has a unique design that really does a good job. I used it on my dog's bed and was shocked at how much it was able to remove. We've had a Dyson allergy for a while and I was more impress with this vacuum's ability with carpet and furniture. As a mom of 4 kids and 3 fur babies I'm so happy this is in my home. I hardly have time to get a really good clean but with this vacuum I can take care of it easily. The pet attachment picked up my pet hair quickly on my carpet, a life saver during shedding season. Definetly recommending this to all the other moms in my mommy groups.

I was Impressed how lightweight and easy to maneuver on hardwood. Cleaned carpets really well, only complaint was how much harder it was to push around on carpet. It was noticeably more difficult than other vacuums I've owned, but it seemed to clean better with more maneuverability, so it's a trade off I would prefer. I enjoyed the attachments for furniture as we have pets in the home. Overall I like the vacuum and would recommend it.

Great buy If you think your old vacuum is doing a good job this powerful, lightweight cleaner will show different results. I could not believe the dirt and dust my older vacuum left behind. Very pleased with my affordable choice.
