I was looking for a portable vac to keep in the garage for the cars. Saw this on sale at Sams for $70, so I had to try it. The attachments work great. Tried it on a rug in my den and was surprised at the amount of dirt it pulled out.

If you had the older one and loved it, but the plastics broke... this is what you'll want. But I'll just way wait and see how long this one last. The older one lasted three years

i originally bought a shark which is what i like. the shark had too much suction and would not work on a nice size area rug. i tried two different vacums with rhe same issue. so i took the $198 vacum and exchanged that for this bissell. works great. plenty of suction. my only complaint would be the cheap plastic used. but hey for $100 im estatic.

Good suction but does NOT work well on ANY thickness of rug or carpet. Brush gets hung up and won't spin and I get a burned rubber smell every time. Doesn't matter which “carpet height” setting I use. I have very low pile rugs and this thing just cannot handle any of them.

this unit is very heavy and doesn't transition from different flooring heights well. The handle doesn't always click in and stay upright, making fall over easily. It does pick up well. Has a easy access to empty also. I would not buy again

I do NOT recommend this vacuum to anyone. The auction is great, picks up alot. BUT like other commenters have stated, the hair, dust and whatnot gets stuck in the hoses, and canister. every time we empty, we need sticks, wire hangers or something to pull stuff from the canisters. spend atleast 10 to 20 mins teying to clean it out. Not a good design on the canisters.

Got this vacuum and my pet's hair goes high up into the canister and I need chopsticks to try and get it out. It picked up a lot of hair but takes forever to clean the canister.

Used only a couple times after purchased. Started to make a very loud noise when vacuuming then the belt snapped. I purchased (2) more belts (surprised I would need to do so for a brand new vacuum), replaced the belt and had the same results happen but even quicker this time. I put my last belt on and found the brush to not move at all now. I removed the last belt and tried to spin the brush by hand and found it to be seized up on itself, must be some bearings that went bad??? We only used the vacuum (3) times, and now we cant. Pretty sad for brand new....

HORRIBLE!!! Had to unclog over and over. Unable to handle pet hair. Clumps in the hose. I’m going back to SHARK. just horrible
