We have four kids who are ten and under, two dogs, and two cats. Needless to say, we rely heavily on our vacuum! This vacuum has great suction and is lightweight. Overall it is an awesome vacuum! It picked up a lot that my old one left behind. We have both hardwood floors and carpet. It did an outstanding job on the carpet. My kids spilled a container of uncooked oatmeal on the carpet and it picked it up easily. It did not swivel as much as I expected, but it is still very easy to maneuver around furniture. The extension wand is great to get into hard to reach areas. I love the dusting brush/crevice tool, it is smaller than on my previous vacuum and able to get into corners and hard to reach areas a lot better. This vacuum is awesome on pet hair and dust on our hardwood floors, however it did not do great when I tried vacuuming dry rice from them. The rice was spun out and scattered everywhere by the brush roll. The wand picked it up easily though. It is a nice vacuum. I would definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum! I was coming from a cordless vacuum before this, and did not realize the power and suction I was missing out on. We live on a farm and our animals are mostly outside, but occasionally sneak in. But let me tell you, this vacuum works wonders on not just pet hair, but deep cleaning dirt, sand, hair, etc from carpets and hardwood floors. I was amazed (and Disgusted!) at how much came up my first time using this vacuum! And I like to keep a tidy house! But we live in a drafty old farmhouse with lots of kids and things just get dirty! I LOVE the extension wand for hard to reach corners and cobwebs on the ceiling. The swivel feature makes it easy to maneuver, in general. And the bin is clear so you can see what you've sucked up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the opportunity to try Bissell's Cleanview Swivel Pet Upright Vacuum for free in exchange for my honest review as apart of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First and foremost this vacuum was easy to assemble and is extremely lightweight and comfortable to use overall. It picks up dirt, dust, dander and hair very nicely. The vacuum works well on both hard surfaces and different carpet lengths. The different attachments also work great and help me get those hard to reach spots and surfaces like the couch. Overall I'm happy with the weight and maneuverability and the simple dumping tank. The only thing I wish I could change about this vacuum is the cord, I believe it should definitely have an automatic rewind button. I would definitely recommend and even my 2 year old enjoys using it.

With that said I think this bisslle cleanview pet swivel vacuum works great. I have two furbabies and they shed a lot. This vacuum sucks up all dirt and pet hair. I like that it has two attachments for hard to reach places and it has a really long cord. Its dirt tank is super easy to dump and clean. It's not to loud when it runs. Therefore it doesn't make my furbabies anxiety go up when I use it. Overall I really like this vacuum and think it works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum has exceeded our expectations! I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We have a toddler and a baby and a dog that sheds quite a bit. When I say, I thought our rugs were clean(ish) and had recently vacuumed before using this - I was blown away and a bit disgusted haha. I could not believe how much hair and dust our previous vacuum was just rolling right over. This one seems to actually brush the dirt and dander out of our rugs without damaging them. The clean view canister is very satisfying to see how much you're actually accomplishing and the vacuum feels surprisingly light because of how easy it is to maneuver. The tools are great for pet hair on the couch and carpeted stairs as well. The only thing I wish it had would be a retractable cord.

As a mom of 4 kids and 3 fur babies I'm so happy this is in my home. I hardly have time to get a really good clean but with this vacuum I can take care of it easily. It works amazingly well on my carpeted bedrooms and the swivel makes it easy to navigate under surfaces. The attachments are easy to use and work great to get those hard to reach surfaces. With two small kids and a golden retriever, we are constantly cleaning up messes and dog fur. The CleanView is powerful, but felt cheaply constructed. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Lots of sucking power and strong bristles gave a deeper carpet clean Swivel head made turning easier (but it did require more wrist action that some premium brands) Large dirt canister required less dumping for all of the dog fur Long cord provided more power than battery powered options with less outlet changes from room to room Cons: Accessories did not stay attached Vacuum seemed like it was cheaply constructed and wouldn't last long Getting dirt at near the wall was difficult so the edges and around furniture wasn't fully cleaned

I have a few cats, a dog, and 2 young children, and this vacuum cleaner is a power house! The canister is huge. With my old vacuum cleaner, I had to empty the canister twice while vacuuming my house. With this one, I finished and the canister is only half full. It is easy to swivel and maneuver but does take a little getting used to as it is a little heavier to push than my old one. It comes with so many tools and attachments that make it easy to reach every nook and cranny! The cord is fairly long helping me reach the full room. I'm thankful for this vacuum cleaner!

After using this vacuum in my home for a couple weeks, here are my thoughts: The vacuum is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I do have concerns the lightweight plastic may not be super durable, but there are no indications of problems at this point, and the vacuum performs very well. I have used this vacuum immediately after using my other vacuums (that I thought were doing a great job), and this vacuum still manages to collect a large amount of pet hair and dander. It works equally well on laminate flooring and on different rug heights (it has 5 different surface height settings). I like how easy it is to steer, and I like that it cleans right up to the edges of my area rugs and walls without flinging dust around. I like that I can detach the hose to reach higher up places without the vacuum tipping over, and I'm impressed with how well the TurboEraser tool works on my upholstered furniture. I do prefer the power button and the height adjustment controls to be closer to the handle or on the wand part, rather than on the bottom, but those are not deal-breakers when the performance is this good. Other minor improvements might include a slightly longer power cord and higher placement for wrapping the cord when not in use. Overall, I'm very happy with the vacuum's performance and my cleaner floors.
