Everything is easy to use and learning time as someone who has never made espresso was very easy. The grinder does a great job grinding the beans and the milk frother is amazing as well. The machine works great grinding beans or using pre-ground. I really love this product and it has really elevated my coffee experience everyday. Also the parts are all easy to clean and I really like how big the water tank is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW!! I never knew I NEEDED an espresso machine until receiving this! Not gonna lie, I was intimidated for the first few days trying this out. Thankfully it comes with easily understandable recipes and directions. The grinder has a dial that lets you adjust the grind, you then press a button that measures out 1 or 2 shots of espresso for you. You tamp it, lock the tamp onto the extractor and in about 10-30 seconds your espresso is made. It even has an ideal espresso manometer. The milk frother is amazing. I've been enjoying morning lattes and evening Americano drinks. This machine comes with a thorough instruction manual and even a recipe book! I love the noise it makes. There is also temperature control and a fast heating coil to make hot water and hot milk in seconds. It reminds me of my local coffee shop but toned down as it is a rather quiet machine. It's beautiful and fun to play around with. I'm enjoying dialing in the perfect shot!

I love that the grinder is attached and you can choose the size of your grind. It’s a stunning piece and looks beautiful sitting on my counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this semi-automatic espresso machine for about a month now. It comes with a burr grinder, a hot water spout, AND a steam wand. It also comes with a porta filter, 4 filter baskets, a commercial-grade tamper, and a stainless steal milk pitcher. The water tank is XL (2.5L), and comes with a handle for easy removal/carrying to the sink for refills. Similarly, the bean hopper is easy to remove to refill with fresh beans. It is clear that this machine was designed for easy cleaning and maintanance. It is a good-performing machine. Water temperature can be adjusted to 3 different settings, as well as 2 settings for volume. Grind size can be adjusted from coarse to fine, depending on your preference. At first, I was nervous to trust the smart-dosing technology and I would always intervene and manually stop the grinder, but it works! So just trust that the machine will stop grinding when it needs to. Now, the pressure gauge was difficult to please at first as I found myself in the under extraction range over and over. I’m not sure if this is due to my lack of knowledge in espresso-making. But I just make sure to play around with the machine until I hit the “sweet spot” and leave the settings as they are. Overall, this machine makes great-tasting coffee. The semi-automatic settings are great for coffee aficionados (and for those who want to learn more about it.) KitchenAid is an amazing brand and I’m sure that with proper care, I’ll keep this machine for many years. Buy your favorite espresso beans, make sure to play around with the grind size and the dosage, and your coffee will taste amazing!

But the instructions were not clearly defined when I tried to assemble the additional parts of the espresso machine. I did get some additional assistance from my sister and she was able to correct my mistake from the missing piece of the instructions and got it to work and now it is my favorite for making my espresso in the mornings. It's quite amazing, especially if you like protein coffee. One premiere protein shake and a shot of espresso or double shot. Try it out!
