It is not excessively difficult to operate, the noise level is pretty low, it is a very attractive design, it is easy to clean, there are a lot of options for customizing your beverage. The grind function is wonderful. The consistency is perfect for me.

It took about few try’s to really get the hang of it but now I am brewing exceptional espresso at home! Love the different grinding level options, options for a double shot is a must for me and this espresso machine has that too! Temperature level for the water is great!! It also has a milk steamer and a spout for hot water which is very handy for tea making! All in all I am pretty impressed with this machine!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get this machine and start using it. I have been searching for an espresso machine already, so the timing for receiving this was perfect. My initial impressions were that it’s very high quality and looks nice, a compact but robust size that fits snuggly under a cabinet. There was an issue with the water filter plastic encasing, unfortunately the top part of it broke and then when I opened the bottom to add a filter, one of the plastic latching pieces broke off as well, so now it doesn’t properly shut all the way. It still somewhat works, and since I use filtered water anyway I’m not too worried, just thought it was worth mentioning. I did want to take my time getting familiar with the parts and set up, so I do have one critique here that the instructions and website (linked via QR code) did lack some clarity especially when it came to priming the pump, and then also running the clean cycle. I’m still not clear on the difference between the two, I just know that water comes out of different nozzles for the cleaning cycle - so be prepared with extra cups for that (it shoots out if the steam wand last). It would have been helpful to know how many rounds to expect to go through these cycles before the machine would be ready to brew espresso, I eventually got there but the whole time I felt like I was doing something wrong. Definitely a learning curve! The last issue I had was that the water leaks from the tank in the bottom tray where the extra filters and cleaning brush live (photo attached) I clean it every time, but this happens even after its been unused for hours. But the reason for my five stars is because once everything is said and done, this thing works like a champ! The burr grinder is exceptionally good, the beans are ground with ease and its not loud at all. The texture comes out perfect depending on the setting. The actual brewing function works great, I was able to pull robust frothy shots on my first go. Delicious! I do wish the steam wand was longer, but it gets the job done. I’m excited to continue trying new combinations with the different filters and techniques for grinding the beans to create my perfect cup. I do think there are just a few small things that could use improving that I only mention because of the price point, but overall it’s a very high quality machine for the amateur coffee aficionado.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this machine was exceptional for about 3 months. The grinder was my favorite part, super quiet, fast, and produced the perfect amount of grounds for a double shot every time. The extraction was meh, took awhile to lock in to how we wanted it but still, worked every time. We used it 3x daily. I descaled the machine when needed, and eventually the grinder needed cleaning, but that's normal with any coffee grinder in these semi-automatic machines. One day, however....everything about this machine changed. The grinder stopped giving good amounts, roughly 8-10 grams for a double shot, so we would have to press the button 2-3 times sometimes. Nothing worked to fix the issue. Then the extraction just became NON-EXISTENT. Tried everything numerous times. No matter what we do, the pressure spikes and not one drop comes out, then the machine stops and the power button flashes along with the water button. I've also tried priming the pump numerous times as well. I called the service line and she was nice. She told me to try steps I'd done 5 times ea. Now this machine has gone back in the box. Waving the white flag of defeat. I received this machine as part of a promotion, but if i paid the sticker price i would be extremely upset. This thing is useless now. One other thing, you're supposed to change the filter but there's not an existing filter from kitchenaid to purchase. I found some on amazon but they're different from the one that came with the machine. I will call service back but if i have to pay to ship this thing out to them, it's going in the garbage. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not going to lie I was intimidated by this machine but after reading the manual and watching videos it was a lot more simple than I thought still need practice but it’s super cool and my espressos are sooo smooth and nutty tasting. I’m so thankful I got a chance at getting this. Thank you so much Influenster I have always wanted one and you gifted me a really nice one for my birthday. I definitely recommend this machine especially for beginners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grinder on this espresso machine is legit, and the espresso it pulls is amazing! On day one, after a few test shots to dial in settings, I was able to make a latte nearly on par with my favorite coffee shop which felt pretty incredible. With the right beans and a bit more practice I am confident I’ll meet or exceed their results! I reduced my review from 5 to 4 stars because the reservoir does have a tendency to leak if not perfectly seated on its base- and it did leak all over my countertop and floor on its first night in my kitchen.
