It's Very quiet, Offers a whole coffee bean grinder for optimum freshness. Did take a couple of different grinding settings for the perfect cup. Also has a steaming function for froth milk to put on top of your espresso. Also offers boiling hot water function for tea and hot chocolate.

It was very easy to setup, I read some reviews that said the priming portion was hard to understand, it wasn't. There are several more customizable settings that I have not played with because I was able to fine tune to my tastes without having to use them. I recommend using a gram scale to help narrowing down the grind amount via the setting then you are good to go.

The grinder is really quiet and the settings allow for a wide range of grind sizes. I find that I am able to get the perfect espresso range when extracting. The controls and buttons are a little overwhelming when first opening the box since everything is just an icon, but you quickly learn them and then it is a breeze! I have been making myself an iced white chocolate mocha each morning, and it saves me a lot of time and $$ in the long run over frequent Starbucks runs. I really like this Espresso machine and would defiantly recommend it!

Took a little second to figure out the machine but once it’s running you’re bound to have amazing espresso drinks for life!! It grinds and dispenses the perfect amount of coffee into the portafilter and brews such a balanced coffee shot. The machine is high quality, versatile and stylish .It has customisable setting for pressure, grind and temperature which is very easy to understand too. It’s very convenient and with a milk frother it’s all-in-one design to make it worth every penny. The machine also comes with its own water filtration system so you don’t have to worry about the water quality. The best thing is that it comes with multiple attachments for portafilters so you can adjust your shots. Bonus part: it come with a little cleanup kit too to make the cleaning part easy. All in all i would highly recommend this machine.

The KitchenAid semi-automatic espresso machine makes a great shot of espresso and looks great doing it. The machine comes with single and double wall baskets in single and double shot sizes so that you can use either pre or freshly ground coffee with it. Should you choose freshly ground the attached burr grinder allows you to adjust the grind level and the amount dispensed for one or two shots. Once your grinds are dispensed into the portafilter (done automatically by the attached grinder) the included commercial grade tamper makes it easy to compress them for the perfect shot. When you're ready to pull your shot just select from three temperature settings and set the number of shots and it'll do the rest. The pressure gauge shows the level of extraction with a helpful "espresso" range to help you determine if your shot might of been over or under extracted. If you need more help with that the quick start guide the machine comes with includes details on what to look for and what to adjust in each case. Once you've mastered making your favorite espresso a set of recipes to try out are also included with the machine. Overall I found this easy to use due to the clear directions included and am impressed by the different options for customizability. Even the slightly under extracted shots I produced had a strong flavor.

It took us over an hour to figure out how to set the machine up. The instructions didn’t state what was included. For example, I found three more filter baskets behind the drip tray inside the machine. The quality of the machine is amazing! The espresso drinks I make at home are better than what I used to get at Starbucks. The steam wand produces the best frothy milk for cappuccinos I’ve ever had. The fact that I’m able to have two shots of espresso at once saves a lot of time. The grinder allows every espresso shot to be fresh. The end result - a perfect cappuccino. Clean up is very easy. An added bonus is that this Kitchenaid espresso machine looks amazing in my kitchen.

It does have a bit of a learning curve if you aren’t used to anything beyond coffee pods. But it comes with instructions and a great recipe book.
