Took a little second to figure out the machine but once it’s running you’re bound to have amazing espresso drinks for life!! It grinds and dispenses the perfect amount of coffee into the portafilter and brews such a balanced coffee shot. The machine is high quality, versatile and stylish .It has customisable setting for pressure, grind and temperature which is very easy to understand too. It’s very convenient and with a milk frother it’s all-in-one design to make it worth every penny. The machine also comes with its own water filtration system so you don’t have to worry about the water quality. The best thing is that it comes with multiple attachments for portafilters so you can adjust your shots. Bonus part: it come with a little cleanup kit too to make the cleaning part easy. All in all i would highly recommend this machine.

First off, when I got this machine, I had never made espresso before and knew absolutely NOTHING about how to use the machine. I can’t even make a pot of regular coffee. I’ve always been a coffee pod girl, throw the pod in the machine and press start. That’s all I knew how to do. With that being said, I was able to successfully make a delicious cup of espresso on the very first day I had this machine, without even having to watch a YouTube tutorial! That says a lot about the ease of using this machine. Clean up is super easy also. I just rinse out the portafilter and use the paper towel that dried it with to wipe off the machine. The milk steamer is a little more difficult but you just use a lightly soapy cloth and you’re good to go! I love how the coffee bean grinder is built-in and you don’t have to guess how much to grind. The machine adjusts the amount for you! Another great feature is the fact that you can adjust the temp of your espresso. If I’m in the mood for an iced coffee, I brew on the lowest temp setting. If I’m wanting hot espresso, I brew at the highest temp. You can also use the milk steamer to heat your coffee cup before you brew to get an even hotter cup of espresso! All in all, I think this espresso machine is great! Very easy to use and clean! If you’re a regular at your local coffee shop, it will definitely pay for itself!

It is such an awesome machine and comes with all you need for fresh yummy espresso shots. It also comes with a milk pitcher and the steam wand can be used to create rich foam or steamed milk for different drinks. The latter was normally done on a kettle style machine or a simple, manual coffee maker; while emergencies were handled at a coffee shop or via k-cup. That all changed with this machine. Making a high quality cup of espresso is typically a rather involved process, and while there is still the expected step-by-step routine with this Kitchenaid, it is so efficiently designed that you hardly need an instruction manual to use it. Based on efficiency, versatility, design and the ability to crank out an excellent espresso in no time, this machine gets a shining 5 star review from me. I can't wait to show off my skills at my next get together!

It’s has a little compartment that slides out and holds the filter baskets. It Heats up pretty quick after you turn it on. So far I’ve been making great tasting espresso drinks.
