On day one, after a few test shots to dial in settings, I was able to make a latte nearly on par with my favorite coffee shop which felt pretty incredible. With the right beans and a bit more practice I am confident I’ll meet or exceed their results! I reduced my review from 5 to 4 stars because the reservoir does have a tendency to leak if not perfectly seated on its base- and it did leak all over my countertop and floor on its first night in my kitchen.

There are so many settings that you can play with to make your most perfect cup of coffee. You can make grinds larger or smaller, you can play with temperature. You can play with coffee types that you’re drinking. It makes you feel like a professional barista. It is very easy to set up - takes about five minutes and it is also very easy to clean as all the parts are easily disassembled and assembled back together. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have the best cup of coffee they have ever had. I personally love making myself cappuccinos and lattes and I don’t want to ever go to a coffee shop again.

This semi-automatic espresso machine with a burr grinder is perfect. I would say it’s on the quiet side. It's very easy to set up and straightforward to use. The grinder grinds the beans very even, and I love the different options for temperature, grind size, and coffee amount. I also love the storage under the tray for the baskets and the different basket options.

Thankfully it comes with easily understandable recipes and directions. The grinder has a dial that lets you adjust the grind, you then press a button that measures out 1 or 2 shots of espresso for you. You tamp it, lock the tamp onto the extractor and in about 10-30 seconds your espresso is made. It even has an ideal espresso manometer. The milk frother is amazing. I've been enjoying morning lattes and evening Americano drinks. This machine comes with a thorough instruction manual and even a recipe book! I love the noise it makes. There is also temperature control and a fast heating coil to make hot water and hot milk in seconds. It reminds me of my local coffee shop but toned down as it is a rather quiet machine. It's beautiful and fun to play around with. I'm enjoying dialing in the perfect shot!

I thought it would be pretty simple to use, however, to pull an espresso that has crema on top takes a bit of practice. Even if you read the instructions and watch video tutorials. The first couple of times I did it the shots didn’t have any crema on top. Eventually when I learned how to better compact the grounds, I started to get the crema like they have in their photos. However, the espresso shots still tasted good to me even if it doesn’t have the crema, but if you’re looking to get the most from the machine it does take a lot of practice. I like that the machine has a coffee bean grinder, because it makes it easy to grind the perfect amount that you need each use. I also really enjoy the milk frother and turning my espresso shots into lattes! I would say if you’re willing to put in the work to learn this machine, then it’s definitely worth getting! My coffee tastes so much better now than what I was previously having in the morning.
