I haven't used it yet, however it looks excellent quality as far as parts and sturdiness. It is much better quality than Salav GS18, GS45 and all GS's. I bought first GS45 and had to return it, because it was all made of plastic junk! This one X5A and X3A are by far the best of all Salav steamers and of all what's available in the market today.

I am a sucker for linen but I love it to be starched and ironed and I would take my white blouses and tops to the dry cleaners to get that ironed, starched and smooth look. Well, NO MORE DRY CLEANERS! With this upright steamer, my blouses and tops look amazing and ready to wear in seconds. I thought there would be a learning curve but after selecting the linen setting (there are multiple settings for many fabrics), the wand was hot and ready to go. Check out these before and after photos. I am ready to go to town on all my wrinkled tops and pants. What an investment!

Steamer has been great but one problem with your instructions of the arms that you put the piece of clothing on - your instructions say pull up each side and the click in place, however your Assembly picture shows pushing them down when putting up and a piece broke off that holds the arm up. Now the arm hangs halfway down. On a fluke a couple of days later I found the button- but nothing shows the location of the button and to push the button BEFORE lowering arms.

I haven't had this product long enough to really give it an honest review as far as how well it's going to hold up, but as far as functionality goes, it does a good job. I like that the pole is telescopic so I don't have to leave it extended all the time and I like the detachable brush feature. Time will tell, but so far I am pleased!

Assembly instructions were easy to follow. I appreciated the visual guidance immensely as I rely on visuals a lot. The steamer was quick to set up. One feature I like a lot is with the hanger attachment, it's not stuck to “must face one side or else it won't work” — you're able to have the hanger be on either side of the steamer. I personally prefer having the hanger attachment on the opposite side of where the hose is attached to the water source. As for actually using the product, it's easy and quick to use. There's three different settings for the dial — either low (1), mid (2), or high (3). I personally gravitate towards the mid steam setting the most as I've found it reliable in my adventures using it! It doesn't take long at all to heat up — about 50-60 seconds. The steam comes out super fast! I definitely recommend giving this product a try. I'm amazed at how this got rid of the incredibly-stubborn wrinkles of my linen shorts!

I upcycle clothing which need a lot of love after a food wash. Ironing was too time consuming and my portable streamer ran out of steam after one garment. This has made my life so much easier and looks amazing when finished. I also crochet squares that need blocked and this works great for those acrylic yarns too.

Received the Salav Commercial steamer last night. Put together fairly easy until trying to follow the directions for the hanger. Unclear to me so will have my husband figure it out. I look forward to steaming my clothes once again. My last steamer lasted 28 years.

So far so good. Still getting used to this one since I have used a different brand in the past. The only thing I would say to improve the design is that the bar that holds the pants is a little bit odd. It should be just a single plain bar that is able to lay seamlessly flat. This one’s at an angle on the steamer.

I am enjoying my new Salav steamer. I like the tall pole for holding clothes while steaming and for “parking” the steamer head. And although it doesn’t steam as much and fast as my previous steamer, it’s easy to avoid burning myself and still does a good job. The large capacity for water is another convenience.

I bought to use at a veteran organization convention to do the flags. I had to steam all the wrinkles out of the flags. Sometimes the heat got a Lil to hot and we had to turn off for a min. I thought i did my due diligence on researching for the perfect steamer but after I opened it up I figured out it didn't have different heats at convention. So there was no returning.
