[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] VERY stable cane and not too heavy considering its base. But the base is the problem. It's FAR TOO BIG!! And the online picture for this item, despite specifying "large base," DOES NOT reflect the true and enormous actual size of the base. Cane provides excellent support and is great if you have a lot of in-home space to negotiate it, but it is really too cumbersome and rather 'glaring' for public or outdoor use.

Larhe wide base helps with balance issue!!!

Medline Aluminum Quad Cane with Large Base for Balance, Lightweight Walking Aid is a waste of money and dangerous. The cane is off center of the base which makes it unbalanced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Larger stance helps better for balance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] good wide base offers lots of support

Adjustable height is a plus.
