This toaster does a perfect job of making toast and is quicker than my previous toaster. The level that lowers and lifts the bread works smoothly. The unit feels solid and is far superior to a cheaper brand that I bought and returned. As a plus, it looks nice too!

This is a great little toaster! It matches my stainless steel GE fridge flawlessly! I live in an older home I don't have a lot of plugs or counter space so I put this next to the coffee maker I had it for about 6 months before I used it to be honest I don't cook a whole lot. Over the weekend I made sausage and eggs a couple times and had toast this thing works flawlessly it has a couple different settings for bagels and larger thicker breads and so far so good I had imagined this thing will work for many many years to come! I also love the easy accessibility of the crumb tray that slides out!

Other reviewers toasters seem to do good toasting at different settings.Mine, however, doesn't actually toast with color at setting number 5. Seems odd in that it has 13 settings. #5 is the ninth setting; they have half numbers. But it does a good job of even toasting, even if two-thirds of the settings are useless unless one only wants warm bread. So I give a three as I regard it as average.

Which on my counter is a big deal, not a ton of space. I like that it has a Bagel setting separate and I love that it has a FROZEN setting. This feature is cool, I can freeze, pull it out of the freezer and I am on my way! Great value!

Wow is all I can say. We looked up a bunch of toasters after the toaster we had 17 years finally died. This GE is the truth! From hearing evenly on both sides to having room to fit split bagels in it, we love it. The buttons are a plus too. You won’t be mislead or disappointed buying this.

The toasting areas have plenty of room in case you want to toast something like a bagel or a larger slice of bread. It is all stainless steel so it looks great in her kitchen!

I replace a GE Toaster that was not uniformly toasting. Wife was upset with it. Was going to buy on I researched on line, she said it felt cheap, read reviews for this toaster in magazines, said that's the one I would like. Got it, and it toasts the bread worse than the old one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster is a nice shiny silver. I liked the way it cooked my toast. It has a button you can turn and a bagel botton. Also a frozen button to unthaw stuff. smelled alittle at frist but that burned off quickly.

I returned the toaster within a week because it leaked crumbs from the bottom almost as if the removable tray wasn't there. The excessive visibility of fingerprints was another disappointment. The toasting function was acceptable, but it was overshadowed by the aforementioned flaws.

Only toasts on highest settings. Adequate for our tastes, but it's a good thing we don't need it darker. My biggest concern is about half the elements don't heat up at all. If more of them go out it won't toast on ANY setting. GE used to have dependable products. Now you are just selling cheap outsourced trash! START MAKING PRODUCTS AGAIN IN THIS COUNTRY, EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO PAY YOUR WORKERS A LIVING WAGE!!!
