The toaster looks beautiful and is very solid. Works great so far, and this may just fade with time, but the first couple uses I’ve smelled a little lingering of a bad smell when the toasting starts. Alarmist like something during manufacturing or packaging is added that (I’m hoping) burns off after a couple more uses.

I like this toaster a lot. About 7 months ago I bought a cheaper brand and it lasted all of 2 months before the elements were bent and bread was getting stuck. This GE toaster is great. It toasts bread, bagels, English muffins all perfectly. It’s sturdy and the cord is a good length. Love it!

The frozen feature will thaw out your bread and then toast it in the same slot. All the different options for the toast is so fun! The toaster is a must have so make sure you get yourself one now!!!!

First, the heat up to cure the filaments was so full of smoke it stunk up the kitchen so I took it outside to do it again. It made us start coughing. Second, the first toast we did one side was not browned and the other side was way over done. I’ll update this if tomorrow it gets better. If not I’ll call to return it. That’s why I bought a new one after 14 years..uneven toasting.

I own many GE appliances but never a toaster and as always, I am not disappointed. I really like this little toaster more than I thought. I did a downsize and space is an issue. I read a lot of reviews before choosing this toaster. Slots are wide and there are more than enough toasting options. Yes, it does toast uneven if you want to be fussy but not to the point where is actually matters as mentioned in other reviews. I set it on 2.5 and it is more evenly toasted than not. For me it's perfect. No complaints here.

Looks and performs amazing. I never thought I would write a review about a toaster, but this little guy toasted my bread evenly on both sides to my liking. I’ve had other high end name brands toasters in the past and this one out performs them… highly recommend!

Well-built and lovely finish. Simple interface for those who like me who value functionality over complexity. Toasts well and has adequate space for bagels --- a must around here. Easy to clean crumb tray and very stable footing. Great value for the money.

First, I prefer to review products after I believe I’ve given them plenty of time and use. That said, here it is after about 2 weeks and very minimal use. The toaster is so much lighter in weight than my last one that it makes me wonder how good the internal parts are and how long they’ll last. The external of the stainless steel looks nice but fingerprints are horrible. Why can’t manufacturers make a stainless steel finish that doesn’t hold fingerprints? (Like they say, we can send a man to the moon…) The settings are ok, the toast settings are a bit tiny to see. One thing my last toaster had was a power light. We really liked that feature as it reminded us to unplug it when not in use. My last toaster lasted 16 years. I’ll be curious to see how long this one lasts.

We wanted a no-frills toaster and this perfectly fit the bill. Easy to use, clean, and store (we have a small apartment with limited counter space). Just read the directions / be sure to cure the coils by heating on the highest setting before use. There will be a slightly unpleasant smell. Works great.
