[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this pan is key for anyone who lives alone or who just prefers to cook in smaller quantities. the higher edges of the pan make it perfect for dishes like omelets that require some flipping action. the pan itself is quality material, but still light weight enough that i can move it between burners easily if needed. it is very easy to clean, which is a huge plus after cooking! i only hesitate to give 5 stars because it is rather small in size, so if i am ever cooking for more than just me i will need a bigger pan.

I love making soups and stews in my dutch oven and eggs on my nonstick frypan, and now I can also enjoy searing delicious steaks on this carbon steel frypan! My favorite part about this item is that you can take this pan outside on the grill, so it's perfect for outdoor cooking in the summertime. I also love how light carbon steel is because it performs like cast iron but is much easier to maneuver. My frypan is already developing a really nice patina as well, and I can't wait to keep using it and seeing it get more nonstick over time. Chef's kiss!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pan complimentary for my honest review. Let me just say, this is a GREAT pan and I highly recommend it. It is super easy to clean. It's not dishwasher safe, but to wash it, all you need is hot water, soap and a sponge. It only took me a minute to get it washed after cooking eggs in it. I buttered the pan and let it warm up on high heat on my stove. Then turned it down to medium to low heat and cooked my eggs in it. It does a great job of cooking and not burning the food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this 8” carbon steel frypan for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m pretty impressed. It heats up quickly, which makes cooking super efficient, and I love that nothing sticks to it — even with minimal oil. Cleanup is also a breeze, which is a big plus in my book. That said, one downside is that the handle gets quite hot during cooking, so you definitely need to use an oven mitt or towel when handling it. It’s a bit inconvenient, but not a dealbreaker for me. Still, it’s a solid pan that performs well for everyday use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a carbon steel pan like this (I’ve never seen one before), but I think the closest comparison is a Cast iron pan: similar care (don’t leave it soaking in water, make sure it’s dry afterwards, oven-safe, etc). HOWEVER, my experience using this carbon steel pan was vastly superior. The smooth interior did a great job keeping food from sticking even on the first use. It cooked extremely well, and felt very well-made. It’s lighter in weight than a cast iron pan of similar size which I really liked (similar to a regular pan), and the handle was very comfortable (definitely wear an oven mitt when handling it while cooking though, it does get hot). It washed off beautifully afterwards with a little dish soap and water (picture is after its first use and cleaning). I like when I can put my pans in the dishwasher, this one you cannot, but that’s not something to downgrade the score for, as it’s inherent in the material. I would absolutely purchase more of these in the future in different sizes, it’s just as good as a non-stick pan, seems like it will last much longer, and seemingly safer than Teflon. Fantastic product, and can’t wait to use it more!

It is already pre-seasoned so you can get started right away and the cast iron body develops a nonstick patina that gets better every time you use it. You can use it on all surfaces: all stovetops (including induction), grill, oven, or open flame. Perfect for outdoor grilling in the summer and indoor cooking in the wintertime! I made burgers on this frypan and they were divine!
