I tested it out by cleaning on a small area of carpet. I rated it 4 stars because it was not easy to pull apart to clean out the machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Steam Pickup 3-1 mop is the perfect addition to the vacuum cleaner if you want to have spotless floors. If the floors are dusty, I highly recommend using the vacuum first before using the Shark steamer. The steamer was super easy to assemble and use. It is well made and not heavy. When it comes to using the device, all I had to do was add water to the container, plug in the device, select the steam level and I was good to go. I have to say that I was very impressed with it. Not only did it pick up additional debris that my vacuum did not pick up but the amount of steam coming out was amazing. It left my floors spotless and best thing is that there are no chemical involved in the process, just water. Emptying the container and cleaning the brushroll after I was done mopping was a breeze. All in all, I really like this steamer and it goes without saying that it gets a perfect rating from me.

I like that it just uses steam to clean and I’m not using any chemicals from cleaning products. Which makes it safer for my family and pets. It’s very easy to empty out the dirty water and clean off the debris that it picks up. Maneuvers easily around to get into small places.

It's nice to know my floors are sanitized without using harsh chemicals. It's lightweight and compact enough to maneuver and carry around easily. Assembly was easy, considering I'm not a mechanical person. We have laminate floors that cleaned to a beautiful, shiny finish. The dry time is much faster compared to regular mopping. I highly recommend adding this to your cleaning supplies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shark steam three in one floor cleaner is good. I have an older model steam mop from shark that doesn’t pick up dirt, just steams. This one is a lot better more convenient and it does a great job scrubbing the floor. I also love the stand that it comes with making drying and storing easy.

It picks up debris it deep, scrubs and is steams and sanitizes while it eliminates 99.9% of common household bacteria versus traditional steam mops. This is amazing because I could pick up all the dirt and steam clean the floors at the same time.

I bought it a month ago and first I have to say I do love it!! It makes me feel my house is really CLEAN, but now.. since the 3rd use (have used it like 4/5 times only, like once a week) I notice it leaves a lot of water residues on the floor and the water tray is pretty much dry/empty when I clean it. Makes me wonder if there is something not working properly or is it normal? I just have to go back and dry the spots w/paper towel but in every use this increments. Would love to know how to fix this as I AM IN LOVE with this steam mop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The entire time I used this steam vacuum I kept saying wow look at that it picked up crumbs and the floor looked brand new. It even separated the crumbs from the water. The steam heated up fast. I did the entry upstairs in less than 5 minutes. Wow! The roller comes out to be rinsed and dries on the holder. I have sharks and everyone I love esp the apex. This one is perfect for hardwood floors. Dried super fast too. I want to buy my kids each one. It’s definitely portable and versatile.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it will take a few cleans with it before you will start to see how much cleaner your floors can actually be but it is totally worth it. It picks up all the dog hair that mopping and sweeping leave behind. I am very satisfied when cleaning out the tray that catches the dirt and pet hair. I cant believe how much my mop actually leaves behind. I talked my best friend into getting one and she bought it the same day and is so happy with the results!
