Seems pretty durable but I wasn't exactly banging it around to really test it. It did the job as well as any other steam mom, I really like that it vaccums and sanitizes with the steam, but I did swiffer the floor before to not get any hairs tangled in the roller, but as I was mopping it didn't seem to matter as the hair didn't seem to get wrapped around the roller like on a vaccum, it simply pushed any hairs that were on the ground back out all over the floor, so I had to pick them up by hand. Not the end of the world but could be annoying to some.

For the following reasons, I gave it a 4: Positives: 1. It's really simple and quick to clean floors! I cleaned all my floors in 30 minutes. (This included the time it took for me to refill the water reservoir once.) It would normally take me like 1-2 hours to sweep, vacuum, and then mop. 2. This is WONDERFUL for those not wanting to push a heavy vacuum or mop around! 3. I feel like the steam leaves my floor really clean! You will notice that it will get pretty steamy on the highest setting! 4. The cord is much longer than most vacuums, and I absolutely love not having to stop and find a new outlet to plug it in! Cons: 1. The product will need to be cleaned after you're done. This is not the easiest or cleanest step in the process. It is not possible to simply throw it in the trash and be done with it. The most effective method of cleaning is to take it outside or use hair strainers/debris blockers in the shower. It is much too unhygienic to wash in the kitchen sink, in my opinion. Overall: All things considered, I adore this Shark Steam Pickup! It's incredible how quickly I can now clean my floors!

I watched it pick up debris as I mopped. This will be a handy tool for me since I have dogs that are always tracking stuff in. This will cover two things at once. It's not super big so can be stored fairly easily in the closet.

This is a great product! I have dogs and I am very cautious about what I put on my floors to clean them. This was an instant solution. The steam disinfects and cleans my floors beautifully. Plus, it is so easy to use and clean afterward. My cleaning lady came on Friday and used she used it for the first time. She was so impressed with the fantastic job that it did in my home, she said she wanted to order one to bring with her to use at all of the homes that she cleans!

It's nice to know my floors are sanitized without using harsh chemicals. It's lightweight and compact enough to maneuver and carry around easily. Assembly was easy, considering I'm not a mechanical person. We have laminate floors that cleaned to a beautiful, shiny finish. The dry time is much faster compared to regular mopping. I highly recommend adding this to your cleaning supplies!
