Go back to the old recipe that used the sourdough starter. The new version tastes like white bread and not as soft. Will not buy again

Like so many other reviewers, I too, have purchased Sam's sourdough loaf for years, because it had clean ingredients - including sourdough starter. I will no longer be purchasing it until such a time as they get the real thing back in again.

Please bring back your previous UNSLICED sourdough. With REAL SOURDOUGH STARTER. I bought large amounts weekly and cannot use nor serve this replacement.

I was buying this for a while and loved it and they were like two ingredients, starter, flour and water. Now they have added soybean oil and other preservatives. It looks like.Ugh please go back to original recipe.

For awhile it was an off texture/bread but I feel like they have gone back to the original recipe! Yay! Please do a cheddar or cheddar jalepeno inclusion sometime! 🙏🏻

I used to buy Sam’s Club sourdough when it was just a whole loaf and it was a pretty decent sourdough. Now that they moved to this sliced version it’s nowhere near as good and dries out incredibly fast. The change was a terrible move by the buyer.

As a longtime fan of sourdough bread, I found this completely tasteless. In my opinion, not only did it not taste like sourdough, it really didn’t taste like bread. Odd.
