I dislike that this is being called sourdough bread that does not have sourdough starter in it!! I will not be buying again I think the previous rating and description because I trusted Sam's and did not look at the ingredients!!!

Was one of the few places that offered simple ingredients and real sourdough starter. It’s a shame when greed wins over quality. Been a consistent buyer but no more.

This bread WAS the best. The recipe changed and now it's terrible. No longer real sourdough, just another crappy bread made with yeast instead of sourdough starter. So disappointing. WHY MESS UP A GOOD THING?

whoever made the decision to change the ingredients of this product should find a new carrier. no longer tastes like sourdough bread. no longer organic.

As numerous others have noted, this current "sourdough bread" is NOT sourdough at all. The original sourdough bread/recipe was very good, but I won't be purchasing this current product.

why did you do this to the sourdough and why won't you change it back and why is all the customer service ai and if you talk to someone they can barely speak English why is Sam's self destructing

Bread was too dry.

Something changed in the last year. I'm giving it 2 stars because it was really good before. Now it taste like a plan loaf, it's super flat and the last loaf I got was overbaked unfortunately. Hopefully they go back to their original recipe or original baker.
