After retiring, we moved into a space that was ½ of our old house. We were looking for something stackable and with smart technology. This did not disappoint. The stacking kit create a link between the washer and dryer so you only have to use the washer touch screen. Everything is connected to the "Smart Things" app, which I thought was "cute" but who would use it? Well we do! No more forgotten loads, messages when cycles are done on our smart watches. We love the feedback on water usage and have learned to optimize our loads. As far as cycles go, we tried a few, but the the AI sensors does a way better job of picking the correct cycle. There are only 2 of us, so we find there is more capacity than we need. for some reason it takes 50% less time per load than our old machines. Highly recommended

The integration of those units and Samsung’s “SmartThings APP” gives exact washer operation information at your fingertips wherever you go. Using OptiWash+, I can reduce the guesswork. Yes, it's now science & maybe more complicated. Once the cycle is activated, each unit shows “Sensing the load…” as it smartly determines the best option to do the wash or dry. Sure enough, if you want more complicated options, the display “More Cycles” is available. Now, my appliance is a small computer built in. It will display weather info. The 7” touch screen is big and easy to read and control. You can always touch: Help” if you have questions without leaving the laundry room. I am sure those washing liquids (TIDE) can be ordered directly or automatically in the future within the APP or display. The type of washing detergent is liquid, allowing you to use it in conventional ways. However, to utilize the full AI washing function, liquid detergent is better. The liquid detergent holders (two types) can hold up to 30 cycles or loads. Accessing the door seems a little lower, as you need to be down on the floor if you install those side by side. When you stack them together, the bottom side controller (Washing Machine) will operate both units. With the Samsung AI washer, I can easily handle my laundry. The operation is quieter compared to other brands. I really like the style and ZEN-LIKE design. As a result, the laundry room is no longer dark or hidden.

What a game changer it is, no more missing socks as now you can actually see inside the washer, and for those that enjoy a show, yes, I'm talking to you, people that love watching your clothes getting washed, yeah, guilty as charged here lol, turn that light on and enjoy! You got bored? Well, how about watching a youtube video on the built-in screen, or maybe just continue watching the washing show with some Spotify music in the background, thanks to the built-in speaker :). You can already tell I'm in love with this washer right? Well, I haven't even gotten to the washing part, with the drum size I can finish faster, clothes get washed properly with all the different washing cycles this machine has, don't know which one to select? Well, let the AI washing cycle do it itself. There's soooo many things I love about this washer, the detergent tanks that dispense the right amount of it so you don't have to be dealing with washing your measuring cups or even trying to figure out how much detergent you need, someone's at the front door but you don't have your smartphone with you to see who's there? Answer it straight from the washer with the ring app; the automatic door opening after the cycle's over? Mind blown. You in need of a new washing machine? I'm telling you, this is the ONE.

No more having to wait for my neighbors finish using 1 of the complex's 3 washers. It's annoying especially when they're not transferred to the dryers in a timely manner. The washer is large enough to wash anything from curtains to our bed comforter. I highly recommend!

The drum’s huge, so I do way less loads, and the SuperSpeed Wash actually gets stuff clean crazy fast. I didn’t think I’d need the app, but now I use it all the time—so much easier to pick cycles and keep track of laundry. Auto detergent dispenser is super handy, and it’s great on energy too. At first I was like “do I really need an app for a washer,” but turns out, it’s actually kinda neat having the SmartThings app. The machine weirdly starts picking up what cycles I use and recommends them for me - it’s a bit scary but also super handy. I like getting those phone notifications too because I always forget I started laundry. The detergent thing—Flex Auto Dispense?—means you just fill it up and don’t have to think about it for weeks. No more guess work or spilling all over. The app tells you how much you have left too, which is sorta nerdy but I’m into it. Does tiny loads well, does giant ones well, and looks cool too. 10/10, would recommend to anyone even thinking about a new washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer and dryer are probably one of the best two things that I've bought as a set they complement each other the options that the washing machine has I've never seen a washing machine with so many options to clean but Samsung is made it easy they've given you an AI feature which basically knows exactly what needs to be done with the clothes that are in for that load and what they've done to make it even easier is they've let that AI feature transfer over to the dryer so whatever the washing machine does the dryer does the corresponding task but what a dryer is supposed to do dish washing machine has a pet option where if your pet bed gets dirty toys dirty anything that your pet gets dirty Harry it allows you to put that in press the option and it cleans your pet's toys and or bed by making all the adjustments for you you'll never have to worry if you're putting it on the right setting because Samsung when you're setting everything up it'll go through a series of questions and as you ask those questions when you start washing your clothes it'll give you those options for washing your clothes I'm glad they came out with this because now I enjoy going to the washing machine putting in my clothes. The amount of clothes that you can wash in one load it's it's amazing you can almost wash everything in one load depending on how much clothing you have with the automatic detergent dispenser it makes things easier so you're never putting too much detergent on your clothes and then getting that feeling that you have detergent still on your clothes the spin cycle literally dries your clothes if you had a clothesline you could put them up on the clothesline and everything would be perfect and lastly if you have any of Samsungs products TV tablet phone as you're hooking this washing machine up to the Internet it'll see all of the other Samsung products and it'll send out a notification letting you know when your clothes are done you will not make a mistake if you buy this washing machine and dryer

It washes extremely clean, and has an option to open the door after the cycle has completed, which is a definite plus. I love the automatic dispensers that will dispense just the right amount of soap. It is quiet as well, which is great! My only improvement would be that if I could customize loads and save those. Otherwise this machine is fantastic! The auto dispensers allow me to use a different detergent than the rest of my family, and have two separate dispenser options. There is also a manual dispenser if need be as well. I do think it's a bit weird that it can connect to youtube and spotify; I'm not sure what the need for that would be. It does an excellent job connecting to the smart things app - I also love that it will notify me when the cycle is complete. We store ours side by side rather than stacked - would definitely recommend!

Washer is great looking and makes the clothes smell fantastic, however the most recent software update broke the ability to press the start button on the washer to start a cycle. Instead I have to initiate a delayed cycle for 1 minute of delay and it will start. Once that happens the start and pause button work normally. They need to release a software update to fix this bug.
