After Hurricane Beryl struck Houston area and we were without power for several days, we decided to invest in a generator so we could be better prepared for the inevitable next one. We purchased model WGen9500TFc. We tested it out, and it started right up. We found that it will power our refrigerator, freezer, some lights, a TV, and our A/C, all at the same time !!! We are confident that we are now hurricane prepared!

We received this generator right in time for the hurricane that hit Houston on July 8th. We were without power for 7 days but this generator was good. We had 2 window units connected as well as a fan, and our mobile device charging. Would recommend as it also is compatible with gasoline, propane, and natural gas to run.

I purchased this generator to be able to run critical circuits in my house during a power outage. I checked around and decided on the Westinghouseb9500TF. The operation is simple and I love the electric start. My bdays of yanking on starter cords is over. Great product.

Purchased this generator a week ago, it arrived on the time promised. As a senior citizen, it was no problem unpacking the unit from the shipping pallet, putting the wheels and legs on and wheeling it around easily to the back yard. It came with every possible instruction and diagram and had no problem getting it ready to start. Started immediately on the push of the start button, which is a very welcome change from my old hand pull generator. Ran efficiently, the wattage guage read 244 consistantly. Very pleased with this generator and I'm planning on adding the transfer switch.

I am very happy with this product. When I tried to program the fob after receiving it, I was unable to do. I then called and the lady was able to walk me through step for step to solve my problem. She was very helpful in answering any and all questions I had. I feel that this is a very good unit for the price.

Superior built product, sturdy unit and performed better than my previous generator. Haven't put it to 'the test' (of driving my home during power outage) yet, but I feel confident, just by unboxing and assembling the unit as to the care that was used when building the product.

Purchased in November 2024 because we have frequent power outages where we live and liked the fact that this generator was dual fuel powered. We have used it twice in the past 2 months on propane and it worked great. I was able to make coffee and cook during these power outages which I have not been able to do previously. We liked the propane because it is more stable but also like the fact that we can use gasoline also.

I have set up gas lines for several of these generators and all of my customers have been very happy with the quality and performance of these generators. I just purchased one myself after the current storm and I am looking forward to using when we don’t have power like we just did for 6 days.

Just went through my first power outage and thankfully with the help of this generator we were able to have power the entire day. It ran great and is super easy to assemble and turn on. Would highly recommend this generator to everyone because it did not malfunction once!

This thing is loud and the power it produces is "noisy" and not good for computers; even those connected to a UPS. My APC UPS(es ... plural) switched back and forth from battery to AC power. It is a good, easy to use generator and fine for emergency back-up, but not if you want to be able to work from home.
