This coffee mill allows you to easily pick your grind. Not just 3 options, but fine, medium, course and everything in between. The bin is large and can hold a lot of beans which allows us to store beans in the bin and grinds a cup or pot at a time, so the coffee is always fresh. It also looks great on your countertop.

I received this a a gift. It replaced a 4 or 5 year old same model of Cuisinart that had died. It is the perfect grinder for me. Because I am the only coffee drinker in the house, I usually make single cups of coffee. If I could, the only thing I would change would be to eliminate the static electricity that hinders pouring the grounds into my coffee maker.

I've been using this for a while and like the large hopper for the beans. I'm also impressed with how (relatively) quite it is when grinding the beans. I also like the varieties of grinds. I've already mentioned it to a friend who was looking for a newone.

I’m disappointed in the product for the price and reputation of Cuisnart. It’s noisy, the slide switch to select the amount to grind feels cheaply made, it takes up an excessive amount of counter space and most annoying, the acrylic receptacle to catch the grounds is subject to static electricity causing the grounds to cling to the sides and lid. It does make a nice little even grind but I personally can’t detect any difference in flavor or boldness from the nice compact and inexpensive blade grinder this replaced.

The grinder is the 3rd one that I've had. The 1st one lasted about 5 yrs and then died. 2nd one about 6 or 7 yrs before finally quiting. So, why did I buy a 3rd? I love having fresh ground beans for my morning coffee and once you find the right grind (fine to course) and set it as well as the timing of how much grinds it's just a matter of tapping the grind bar and getting the perfect amount every time. Yes, it would be nice if they lasted forever, but nothing does and the price is very reasonable for what it does. My only real complaint is that it is very noisy. We call it the alarm. LOL So, 2 lost stars, one for longevity and one for noise. But, I recommend it.

I gave 1 star for the shape and size and another star for the roomy coffee bean cup. But to my utter disappointment the ground coffee did not deliver a tasty cup of joe. In fact the hub and I dumped it out and started over with another back up grinder. I returned it the next day not wanting to put that much effort into figuring out what settings to use.

I bought this for myself and loved it. However, I needed to exchange it because it stopped working. I had cleaned It on a regular basis so I was stymied as to what the problem was. I bought one for my son and I went to his home to use his machine and it stopped also. In the meantime his has started working again after he cleaned it. In retrospect, i “think” that the machine stopped because it was clogged. I grind my coffee on the finest grind I can and although I cleaned it often, I think the oil-build up might have been the problem. Any thoughts? Judi

We are quite pleased with the Supreme Grind burr mill. The selector provides the range of options we need to prepare our home-roasts for drip to vacuum methods with a fuller flavor than blade grinders. The slide dial accommodaties the variable amounts to be ground. Grinding is relatively quiet. The hopper and grind chamber are easily cleaned. The compact size affords easy cabinet storage.

For some reason the beans jamb up in the grinder. I simply pour the hopper about 75% full every 3 days. When it grinds about a third of the time you can hear it whine with no beans being ground. This is the reason we got rid of the last grinder we had and went to better brand(we thought)
