Purchased approximately a month ago and have encountered no issues. Actually this is my second one. My first one worked faithfully, everyday, for many years. I make a variety of brews which require different grinds from fine to course and in different amounts. With its large hopper and auto shut off I can grind enough to fit all my needs. I clean it after every use to avoid any sensor issues that some people experience.

This works out well for me. Grinds a nice amount of coffee beans to last me for a few days. You can adjust the coarseness of the beans. The Grinder automatically stops grinding when either all the beans are ground up or the holding container is filled.

Very versatile and easy to use. Grinding coarseness is easily adjustable as is the amount of ground coffee. I especially like not having to count out the number of scoops of beans. It will grind unattended, so I can be cleaning the coffee maker and adding water while the grinder is working.

The very first Cuisinart coffee grinder I purchased lasted for 9 year and was fabulous. However, this new grinder leaves much to be desired. First off, the beans do not flow through the grinder, you have to continually shake the machine while grinding to get the beans to drop to the burr. I will look at taking out the motor from the old and replacing with the motor in the new one. The old grinder motor just died. There is something about the ne one that the beans don’t flow through to the burr grinder. I use the exact same brand coffee I have always used, all Costa Rican Tarrazu Coffee, been drinking it for 15 years!

This is our second only because it is the best available at a reasonable price. The first one only last 2 years, a short time for something that is used 30 seconds a day. It is also difficult to get the grind correct, it is either too course or too fine. It is also very messy. I have to clean up the area every day because the grinds don't always go into the reservoir.

Si I was accustomed to using a hand grinder to get a perfect French press grind. I was hesitant to get an electric one but this was a great purchase! Select the grind from espresso to corse which I use for cold brewing in a 2 liter mason jar. Now hopefully it will last as long as my hand grinder did.

I have had other burr mills and this one gives consistently medium sized granules for drip/percolator coffee makers (not an easy task). Couple that with the fact that you cannot only chose the coarseness of the grind but also chose the amount of coffee to be grinded in regards to the amount of coffee you wish to make, makes this burr machine a winner on so many points. Highly recommend.

I have had coffee grinders before and all were based on the same beans swirling around the bowl until the user decides to stop, or a specific time - either way, producing an uneven grind. But the Cuisinart Supreme Grind accurate grinds the beans to the selected size and drops them into a “separate” container. The beans do not become overground while some are still underground.

Because I've been happy with other Cuisinart products, I decided to purchase this burr grinder instead of a more costly brand and I'm so glad I did! Our Bunn coffeemaker works best with coarsely ground coffee, and I love that the burr grinder does such a great job grinding the fresh beans exactly the way we want them. I find this Cuisinart burr coffee grinder quieter than my old blade grinder (though it is grinding coffee beans--it's naturally going to make some noise!). I like the design of the grinder, too. The beans are in the top, the grinder is in the middle, and the freshly ground coffee goes right into the plastic cup on the bottom--no mess at all. And lastly, our coffee (to my surprise) really does taste so much better now that we grind it in this burr grinder. It is smoother and milder somehow, with no bitterness no matter how strong you decide to make it.

This purchase replaced an existing burr grinder from a different brand that was about 10 years old. The Supeme Grind Automatic Burr Mill from Cuisinart is a great product. Compact, durable, with a good heft and weight. The ability to change the grind with a simple turn of the hopper that is **durable** is great. I broke my last grinder simply by trying to turn the grind setting so this was high on my priority list for ths mill. I also really like the two-part plastic housing where the ground coffee is deposited. The fact that it has a nice cover means the grounds don't go flying everywhere (unlike my last mill). I am looking forward to using this every day for a long time - it's a quality, well made product.
