This item is as described on the website. Works easily and wonderfully. One of the best features of the coffee grinder has to be the ability to pick from a variety of grinds. Another plus has to be the feature of choosing a setting for how many cups of coffee you wish to make and this machine grinds the right amount of coffee. It’s a pleasure for any coffee lover to own.

We have had this product for just over a month. It has performed nicely ,doing what it is suppose to do grinding the beans. We find the grind consistent with the machine being surprisingly quiet during the grind. I was expecting it to be much louder than it was. Once we found the right grind, for us it is just between fine and medium we were set. Very pleased, nice product, does what it is suppose to do.

The burr coffee mill is too noisy, it's grounds collection cup is difficult to clear the ground coffee into a coffee pot (e.g. a French press), and its funnel for placing the coffee beans to be ground does not effectively enable blending of beans from different coffee roasts to create our own "blended" coffee. We've shelved the mill (which we received as a gift) and returned to our original coffee grinder--a small four scope mill that we manually press and hold its trigger to grind our coffee beans.

Replacing a previous grinder of the same model I find this one will take some figuring out. The portion control is the same type as the older grinder but placing the control in the position that yielded the correct amount for a decent cup in the single-cup French press only puts out a small amount of coarse-grounds. The older one would grind for a count of ten. This one, placed where 6 or mire cups of ground coffee should be, runs for a count if nearly 30 to yield that same 4-cup amount. These are, of course, 6oz cups. Who,?except an espresso drinker, wants only 6oz in the morning. That having been said, it does a good job with the various grinds and the one it replaced is still in good order in our rental.

I really like burr mill grinders and was very excited to get a new one. I read the instruction, had my coffee pot all ready to go, and the grinder did not work. It's very disappointing to buy something brand new and it doesn't work. I can't go and return things because I'm basically bed bound and I don't drive, so now I have this just sitting in my closet in the box it came in, I even registered my product. Very sad...

Dead on arrival. Tried it on 3 different, known good electrical outlets and nothing. Went on internet to see if there was a quick fix. Apparently there are 3 safety switches that could be faulty and involves taking the unit apart. Nope, not me and not for a brand new unit.

Replacement for an identical grinder. I bought another brand to replace my first Cuisinart grinder that died and it was nowhere near as good. Three things that really forced me to get this one again: 1) The container for holding the ground coffee is well designed and as a result, it is far less messy than other grinders. Less mess and less time to clean up wins. 2) I normally make pour-over coffee but also make espresso. This can produce a grind fine enough for my espresso maker. 3) The daily coffee I make at home is as good as or better than any I've ever gotten from any barista. The fine grind does make a difference, but so does buying good quality coffee beans to put in it. For the money, this is a fantastic machine for home use.

Even that I was looking for a bigger coffee grinder, the size is working well. Just one downside: if you are looking to get your month coffee ready at once, yu may be facing an issue: the grinder gets overheat and will turn off for few minutes. after few minutes you can use it again. Again, I was hoping to have this machine working overtime:-)

Purchased a month ago and here are my thoughts. The coffee receptacle post grinding is plastic and the coffee tends to stick to it (static electricity) making a messy transfer to coffee maker or container. My other gripe is the volume of the grind.its very loud and I find myself grinding the night before so I don't disturb my family. As for the grind itself, it works very well and makes good tasting coffee.

The grind is great; easy to use; doesn't spread coffee around. Suggestions: Needs a setting to fill an espresso machine cup. Using the OFF button destroys your setting of grinding time. Being able to set the grinding time in seconds would be a great addition. A great machine for a great, low price.
