If you are a super mega coffee enthusiast, if you cant go without a cup of Joe at least once a day, if you wanna be able to drink Colombian in the morning and Iced Vanilla Nut in the evening then this Grinder is for you. My only regret is the fact i did not buy it earlier . Love the fact i can walk out of the store with any of my favourite beans of coffee without going " oh, i forgot to grind it in-store!" after i get home.

Pretty good grinder overall - my only complaint is the coffee sticks to the sides of the plastic fill cup due to static electricity which kind of makes a mess if you take the top off the fill cup to pour the contents into your coffee maker. Instead, leave the top on and tap the cup several times to empty contents into the coffee maker filter basket. You're still left with some residue inside the fill cup, but it's manageable. Like the grinder performance and adjustable grind thickness settings. End result: my coffee tastes great!

I bought this to replace my beautiful beloved Krups burr coffee grinder that died after 30+ years. I liked this grinder because it is not too big and its design is consistent with the Cuisinart coffee maker that I have had for years. Moreover, the burrs seemed to be pretty sturdy. HOWEVER, I find that the Cuisinart grinder does not like grinding for only 4 cups of coffee and, even though I do not change the settings, one day, I can get coffee ground for four and the next day, I get coffee ground for 6 or more. I am not pleased to have an oversupply of fresh ground coffee. I tend to brew it all which may account for the jitters and irritation shown in this review...

The unit is extremely noisy compared to other grinders I have used. What I dislike the most, is that the ground coffee adheres to the sides and top of the container, and it is impossible to empty the container without spreading coffee grinds all over. You wind up losing some of the coffee because of that. I will probably buy another grinder, since I do not want to clean up a mess every time I grind coffee. Bad design, and I have seen others complain about this as well.

I’ve been using this grinder and it works well, but the design is so messed up. When you pull out the little box that holds the finished ground coffee, the grounds fly everywhere. Then you have to open up the box lid — it’s not hinged, you pull the lid completely off and more coffee flys around. All around the grinder on the counter there are grounds. We’ve taken to Putting a paper towel under it so we can throw it away when it gets cober s with grounds . It’s inconvenient and just messy.

We've been using the Cuisinart Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill for a month now an really appreciate it's ease and quality of grind. The Bodum grinder that we had been using for years could never grind the quantity of coffee that we needed in less that 3 grind cycles and would clog in a use or two if we tried using a grind finder than coarse.

This is the third one I've owned and the other two were wonderful and each lasted for years. Something is wrong with this new one though. It isn't working well at all. I have to set it on 14 to get enough for 6 cups. The other two would have filled up the collection reservoir at that setting. I'm reaching out to the company and will let you know how the exchange goes. I loved my other ones and I don't want another brand so I hope it goes well.

Why does it to spin so fast just to grind coffee beans? I like to take the right amount of beans out of my storage jar and grind them, that does not work well with this grinder. Several beans always fly around and never get ground and it's noisy. I'll continue using my hand grinder unless I'm preparing coffee for at least 2 or I'm too tired or injured to use it.

I was attracted to this mill because of its capacity and fine grind setting. I normally grind my espresso where I buy the beans and then need to grind it finer with a small electric grinder to get it fine enough for my espresso machine. I was hoping to eliminate this process and only grind the beans once. It didn't work as planned, hence the 4 stars; however, the mill does a very good job of grinding the beans, just not fine enough, so I still have to go through the regrind process with my small grinder. Even so, I appreciate being able to grind the beans at home with a clean machine that only I use, so I feel my purchase was well worth the cost.

don't like the shrill sound. don't like the messy staticy bin grinds too fine( for medium). had to adjust right away don't like that you can't stop and start without resetting. don't like the slide bar to choose 2.4.6.8 cups ; you must carefully slide it to the odd number of cups. I've had very similar cuisinart, and loved it till the burr blade wore out. I will get another cuisinart, but not this one.
