Coffee grinder

There is to much static in the ground coffee container and it is messy to get them out. There is also a large build-up of fine grounds where the ground beans go into the holding container for the grounds that you have to clean half way through the grinding process

A great grinder

I am very pleased with this speedy grinder. It prepares my coffee exactly the way I like for a perfect cup of espresso or regular brew as I wish at the moment! Finally, I have found a grinder that is efficient and gives me a choice from a regular grind to a very fine. I would recommend this product.

Loud and Long

It's loud and takes a long time to grind. I wish I would have sprung for a different one, even if it cost a bit more. It also broke within a year (luckily as I was able to exchange through warranty). It does get the job done though. Just remember to grind for the next day or you'll wake up the whole house

Good grinder

The Cuisinart grinder does a fine job grinding the coffee beans. I especially appreciate that it has a wide range of different grinds. My issue with the grinder is that it is very loud so loud in fact that the first time I used it my dogs started barking at the noise. If the grinder was a bit quieter, it would be perfect. I love fresh ground coffee so I will learn to live with the noise.

Burr grinder

This is my second mill. The previous one lasted many years and we never had a problem. This one appears to do as good a job as the last one. It’s a bit noisy, but that’s about the only complaint. The motor in this one also doesn’t seem to be quite as strong as the last one but it still does a good job grinding coffee.

BURR MILL VS STEEL BURR GRINDER

Normally I would give a 5 Star... but it is really not a burr grinder using the steel grinders... but uses the hard plastic material to grind. But it does do the job for the grind that I need. I am a fan of Cuisinart and the only reason I chose this Burr Mill is I'm a low-income senior and could not afford the higher price of the steel burr grinder...

Happy customer

Convenient, efficient, and pairs nicely on my counter with my Cuisinart coffee maker. It took a couple practice pots to figure out the grind and measurements that worked best for me for my drip coffee maker. I imagine I'll do the same when I make coffee in my cuban pot. But, I enjoyed the experimentation and the results.

FREAKIN' AWESOME

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this because my last grinder broke. I surely wish I would've known about this one much sooner. This thing rocks TOTALLY. Not as loud as by older one, but much, much smoother in grinding coffee much better. I really like the multiple adjustments to select which type of grind you care for. I am so thrilled with the functionality of this grinder. WAY TO GO CUISINART!!

A Very Good Value For The Money

I wanted upgrade to a burr style grinder after only using a blade grinder for literally decades. I read some reviews and decided on this grinder because the reviews were fine and the price was in line with what I wanted to spend. I'm not really sure how I feel about this grinder after using it just a few times, since reviewers on YouTube have said that the smallest grind setting is not really fine enough for espresso. I think the finest setting works just fine. This machine also gets criticized for having too much static electricity build up in the ground coffee bin at the bottom. After you grind and you pull it out the plastic bin you can't see how much coffee you've actually collected because of coffee dust clinging to the inside surfaces of the bin. This is true but I'm not sure how this could be eliminated; by perhaps placing some sort of wire in the bin or something to capture the static electrical charge. For my purposes, this grinder works just fine as I'm not willing to spend double or triple the amount of money I spent on this one. It's a great value for the money.

Not particularly good …

I can’t seem to get the grind I want from this machine. It sounds like it’s struggling through the process and almost ready to quit at times. I’ve had it for two months and just have this expectation from the sound and grind that it could quit at any time. My Oxo grinder that I had for years was the best. Finally, the scale was out of wack and I decided to give it up. But it’s true that you get what you pay for. Also, transferring the ground coffee to the coffee maker is always messy. Poor design.
