Sadly, it is not as welcome an addition to my coffee making as I'd hoped. It works reasonable well as described and directed in the included pamphlet. With only one source of beans used so far the grounds seem quite dusty. The amount of fines appears to be more than grinding the same beans with the store grinder where I bought the beans. I tried several grind settings. All the settings appeared to produce lots of "fines". Coffee brewed with the ground beans seemed harsh and tasted like it had fines in it. No particle size analyses were done to support my impressions; I haven't the necessary lab equipment equipment.

Probably best for price but could be better..Have purchased 3 first one lasted almost 3 years with almost daily use.When motor burned out purchased another one that was defective,Happy to say when told Cuisinart no wuestions asked other than a couple of pictures sent a replacement.

Not as good as your old ones. I had one from 2007 that lasted until 2025. So I bought another one. Has not lasted 3 months and the motor has burnt up. Going to try and do a warranty return and give it another shot. It did not seem right from the start.

My wife and I like good coffee, so a good grinder is important. The Cuisinart Supreme Grind supplements our old smaller Braun grinder. The Cuisinart seems well designed, with clear markings and quality parts, and does a good job grinding beans. It's much quieter than our other, 25-year-plus grinder. I'd recommend it.

I absolutely love this grinder. It not only grinds but also measures out the right amout of beans neededto suit your taste. No waste of beans or grounds. I'm on my third one now. We grind at least once or twice a day and on special occasions more. Wish it would last longer then 2 years though.

The grinder works just fine, but when grinding cold coffee beans on fine grind setting, the delivery port stops up and must be unclogged before finishing the grind of beans loaded in the hopper. My old Cusinart grinder would complete grinding a full hopper of beans before having to empty the receiver of the ground coffee. Is it possible to still get the design of 16 years ago?

This amazing grinder takes the chore out of grinding, coffee beans! Fill the hopper, select the grind size and number of cups and press start is all it takes to get just the right amount of ground coffee for your needs. It also saves money in addition to providing freshly ground beans. The amount it grinds seems less than what would have been spooned out of a bag and yet the coffee is still delicious.

We got this for Christmas - our first ever! We overlooked reviews because we were excited and thought people were just exaggerating. So, first - it works just fine. It grinds well and does let you customize your grind setting. However, this thing is unbelievably loud! Like ear-splitting loud! And no, I’m not exaggerating!! It’s really really really loud! The other issue is that it is messy. First, the grounds blow into the collection cup from the side rather than straight down. Very messy. And the collection cup has a static cling effect that means you never get out all the grounds unless you wash it with water, which is fine once you pour all your grounds into the coffee pot filter BUT you aren’t getting all the grounds you just created into the coffee pot filter - they cling to the sides and bottom of collection cup and you have to wash them out with water. This seems like no big deal until you are grinding daily and it turns into a big mess and a daily hassle. As I said at the beginning of this review, when we read reviews before purchasing we considered these reports to be knit-picky exaggeration but they truly are annoying. Our friends bought the Cuisinart Conical Grinder and all these issues are resolved in that model so invest a few more dollars and step up to the Cuisinart Conical Grinder.

My last coffee grinder died. It was a Mr. Coffee and I used it every day for about 10 years before it quit working. It just wouldn't turn on, so I decided to try another brand. I have had this Cuisinart for a couple of weeks, and it is working like a charm. Let's hope this one lasts even longer than my last one.

Besides it being a burr grinder vs blades, love the large capacity and how little mess is made with the Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill. I upgraded from a small grinder which was loud and always left a mess. This can grind more than a cup of beans at a time, and it goes directly into the lower unit. My only complaint is that the coursest grind setting, which I use for cold brew, seems to grind too finely compared to commercial coffee grinders. Still a vast improvement and I'm delighted with my purchase.
