Great product at affordable price.

It has been everything that we need. We like the ability to grind the beans from very fine to super course depending on the product we are brewing. The only drawback is that it is quite loud - not sure if there is anything that can be done here - it might just be what it is.

Static….static….grounds flying everywhere

I really wanted to love this burr grinder, however, when grinding the beans I experienced Static….static….and bean particles flying everywhere. My search for a non-static grinder continues. Also, I found it to be a bit clumsy and a larger footprint than expected.

Sticky Feed

This was a replacement for our previous Cuisinart grinder which gave many years of service. The only issue with this grinder is that it seems reticent to properly feed oily beans to the grinder. We use Costco brand medium roast and the beans are very dark and oily and seem to stick to the sides unless I encourage them down the shut by hand. I'm sure that eventually as a coating accumulates on the sides of the hopper the beans will begin to feed normally, the grind itself is quite nice but figuring out the correct setting has been an issue because of the feed problem

let's get grinding

I have had it for a couple of months. Works well, it is noisy as all burr grinders are. It is a bit messy but with experience no too messy. You can only really use one type of bean in the machine. Changing to a different bean (decaf for example) is technically difficult. All that said I would buy it again. It works well and is a good value.

Awesome grinder!

This works so well! I can put a whole bag of my specialty coffee in it and it has many choices for the fineness of the grind. Beans can be stored in the top and you can leave the ground coffee in the bottom, as both are sealed. It is quick and quieter than most. I love it enough to give as a gift!

The perfect grind for a pour-over!

I purchased this because the same one I've had for 6 years I had taken to work to use. I then bought a different brand coffee grinder for home. After months of trying to adjust the coarseness of the grind, I could never achieve the same bloom that I can at work when doing my morning pour-over cup. Once I purchased another one of these Cuisinart grinders for home, the bloom was back! This grinder makes the best pour-over cup of coffee.

I say, go for it!

I like my new coffee grinder. It’s attractive and it gets the job done. I like the large capacity which means I don’t have to grind every day or every other day for that matter. I grind my beans into a fairly fine grain, and I get some very concentrated rich Colombian brew. The only things I can say that aren’t perfect would be that it’s not very fast in it’s grinding process, but I do grind fine. Also, it is a little bit messy and you will lose some grain’s when you transfer out of the machine. It is a little on the loud side but I expected that. Overall, I am happy with it and would recommend it. Fingers crossed for longevity. Enjoy!

Bad choice

Very disappointed. 1st grinder we bought was great and lasted several years. Bought new one because switch quit working. New one will only grind a limited amount of beans at a time. Initially thought the Switch to change amount did not work properly. Had replacement sent and same issue. In looking at the difference between the old and new it appears there were changes made in the hopper design which impact the amount of beans it will grind. So we have to run it multiple times to get enough coffee to make a single pot.

Powerful but not without flaws

This is a powerful coffee bean grinder. It will probably do the job for most people. HOWEVER... even IF you ONLY use COURSE ground setting- you will still get a high proportion of espresso powdery level grounds. This is not a good thing for how I make coffee. I either 1.) pour over 2.) french press 3.)stove top percolator. Fine grounds (even with a filter) are not really good for those methods. If you have a normal run of the mill crip coffee maker- it should be good. However- for the price point vs a true ceramic CONICAL burr(which is still superior but tedious for day after day) it's a moderate okay grinder. I just don't like that it creates so much fine ground- powdery excess. It slows down my coffee brew when I do pour overs and it's just messy. I've never had so much mess with a grinder before. Until I do MORE research on a true ceramic conical burr (this one is stainless plate burr) I will deal with it.

Very good but not excellent.

Very convenient with plenty of bean storage and one button operation. Perfect grind. There is not as much resolution setting for grind amount is not as I would like. I make a single large mug in a French press and I can get a bit too little or a bit too much so far.
