I am able to get much better consistency from this grinder than from the typical metal blade style grinders and has a nice reservoir for the coffee. I do get some very fine grinds mixed in with the mix of more coarse grinds. Also, it is pretty loud which I would expect.

We bought this a month ago and use it everyday. We love how easy it is to change from fine to coarse grains with over 15 size options. When you open the lid to get the coffee grains out it cause coffee to get all over the counter. Include is a coffee scooper with a brush to clean the machine.

It's a good unit when it works. This is my third one as the first two went from working perfectly fine, to running at a much lower RPM and then shortly after, stopped working altogether. There is seemingly some durability flaw with the design or manufacturing of this unit

Decent grinder. First I've had that is electric. Got it as a gift. It's a fast grinder...spins quickly and isn't that quiet. But it grinds well. The main issue is the container that holds the coffee. Because the unit spins so quickly, the grounds are ejected into the container with force and stick to the opposite side from where the grounds are ejected. It's a bit messy removing the container and also hard to wash because the coffee really sticks to the container walls. My friend has a slower spinning grinder that is quieter and less manic but the one I have is pretty good overall. Only had a month so let's see how it holds up.

Wonderful product, I wish I'd found it years ago. It's great for all the coffees I make, Cold Brew & French Press (coarse), Drip (medium), Espresso (fine). For years I used my blade grinder and it was a constant guessing game and very messy but not anymore. I love Cuisinart's burr coffee grinder.

I really like burr mill grinders and was very excited to get a new one. I read the instruction, had my coffee pot all ready to go, and the grinder did not work. It's very disappointing to buy something brand new and it doesn't work. I can't go and return things because I'm basically bed bound and I don't drive, so now I have this just sitting in my closet in the box it came in, I even registered my product. Very sad...

I had one of these before, I guess I took it for granted. This grind is perfect, you can choose you need, but it also allows to to grind a decent amount of coffee at one time. It is sturdy, and the last one I had lasted a while, I'm hoping for same results

Even when set on coarse it does not grind very coarse. The bin is difficult to get ground coffee out of and is a pain to clean. It would be nice if it had a pour spout on it to easily dump out the ground coffee. I wish it had an option to grind 2 cups. I use a 4 cup percolator and the coffee it grinds for 4 cups is way too much.

This is a flat plate burr grinder. It replaces the old Cuisinart grinder I have owned for a few years but died when the power switch failed. The grinder is not a conical burr grinder but is nontheless is a good grinder that does the job. My only complaint so far is that is is even noisier than the previous model which makes it very noisy indeed.

Replacement for an identical grinder. I bought another brand to replace my first Cuisinart grinder that died and it was nowhere near as good. Three things that really forced me to get this one again: 1) The container for holding the ground coffee is well designed and as a result, it is far less messy than other grinders. Less mess and less time to clean up wins. 2) I normally make pour-over coffee but also make espresso. This can produce a grind fine enough for my espresso maker. 3) The daily coffee I make at home is as good as or better than any I've ever gotten from any barista. The fine grind does make a difference, but so does buying good quality coffee beans to put in it. For the money, this is a fantastic machine for home use.
