Great grinder except for the plastic grind cup static electricity issue. After top removed and while scooping out or pouring from cup, enough grounds to make a mess come flying out and stick to everything close by, including outside of cup. Should be made of metal.

The grinder produces an inordinate amount of coffee powder along with the ground coffee. This powder ends up all over the grinder, the countertop and the brew packet. It’s uncontrollable. The grinder is loud and high pitched. I think that its burr assembly must be small, meaning that it has to be spun fast, leading to the powder and plenty of static to get the powder airborne.

This unit is okay, but it is hard to select the number of cups because the numbers are hard to see and there are soooo many of them, and seems odd to think of needing 18 cups. It is very noisy (noiser than it's older cuisinart grinder). Also, the problem of clinging to the sides of the clear plastic receiver has not been improved from the original.

So far, we are happy with our recent coffee grinder purchase. Considering there are more expensive grinders on the market; for the price we are very happy with this model. It performs well, easy to use and very easy to clean. Enjoying great fresh ground coffee in the mornings, what a difference from the packaged ground product.

After talking with so many people, while grinding my full bag of coffee at the store, I took their advice and purchased this grinder to start grinding at home. You wouldn't think a little time preground coffee would loose so much flavor, but it does. The fresher the grind the better the flavor, and this grinder does a perfect job. Also very easy to clean.

I wanted something that could finely grind coffee beans for our espresso maker and I comparison shopped before deciding on this one. I didn't want anything bulky for my kitchen counter and I wanted a grinder to be small enough to put away when not in use. This product met all my requirements and the performance of this little guy exceeded expectations.

machine doesn't seem to be grinding enough coffee beans to make the number of cups that the grinder is set to make. From the grinding noise produced, it seems that there are short intervals during which beans are not being ground...the machine appears to be spinning faster than during the periods during which it is actually grinding beans and the sound of the machine is at a higher pitch during these non-grinding periods.

Very Noisy. The auto grind feature didn’t do a good job. It was so messy removing the grounds each day; I always had to clean the counter afterwards. The coffee grounds get everywhere when you remove the canister. The provided brush was too stiff to brush away the compacted grounds from the opening. Awkward shape takes up counter space.

I bought this to replace a blade grinder that gave inconsistent results. This one grinds the beans perfectly for our taste, and has an adjustment option for fine to coarse, depending on individual needs. We recently traveled to Colombia, and brought several bags of quality beans. This mill (and the beans) created amazing results. Cuisinart always equals quality for us. We've had a Cuisinart food processor for over 20 years and it's still going strong! Hopefully we'll get years of use from this mill.

I got this to replace identical model with hat I had used for over 4 years. This one never worked properly. The sound sounded like my old dishes it got clogged. Also using the same settings it ground 50%less than my original grinder. It clogged up on every use. I am using same beans that I have used for many years so that is not the cause. I ended up returning after a week as defective and replaced with a different brand
