The hooper is larger, the chute wider allowing beens to fall into the burr grinder. Before, I had to constantly shake my old grinder to ensure smooth flow of beans to the burr. No, just load the double capacity hopper and walk away. Effectively grinds coffee beans hands free operation. No prior grinders had this larger and smoother bean-shoot design. This device is the best outside of large commercial store varieties and very competitively priced. A pleasure to use and easier to keep clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grinder does a decent job, there is a good variation to the grind size. It's taking me a while to figure out how many beans to add to the hopper to get a certain amount of cups, that's a guessing game. It's also messy when emptying the grind chamber, the find grains stick to the plastic and some goes everywhere, quite the cleanup. But I'm getting better with it. So far, happy with it for the price.

I purchased this grinder specifically for the coarse grind options. This is for cold brew and for French press brew. I also like the larger size grind container. Overall I am happy with the purchase although it can be a little bit messy to remove the coffee from the bin.

I got this because of the online reviews and went to bed bath and beyond, And since I have this now coffee prep time quicker than my other grinder, Cuisinart Supreme Automatic Burr Grinder has always has the right ground for my chemex or french press.

I needed a mid priced grinder for my pour overs and this one fit the bill. However, it isn’t really made for that and I get a bit of finely ground coffee mixed in with the coarse and it does effect the taste. Also, grinding a small amount of beans means the last few just bounce around and don’t seem to get ground up. But I don’t want to say it’s all bad. But for my use of single pour overs, it’s not perfect.

I was looking for a easy to use coffee grinder and one with features like this has as a replacement for my older unit that was worn out. I've had it for a couple of months and really like the ease of pushing a button and having my coffee ground perfectly with the right amount of grinds for my coffee maker. I can easily adjust the amount of coffee and the strength with the easy to use knob. The basket pulls out easily with no spilling and cleans up nicely. I have not had any problem with the ground coffee spilling or making a mess when I pull the basket out.

Our third grinder and we wouldn't keep buying them if there wasn't good cause. The reason for the four star and not five is that the internal mechanism gets clogged with coffee bean particles and is impossible to clean. Eventually the adjustment button stops working and you have to get a new one. A simple enough fix if Cuisinart wanted to fix it; but it's inexpensive enough to replace when the button eventually gets stuck

This is my third of these coffee grinders. The motor survives longer if you only grind 18 cups' worth of beans at a time, allowing the motor to cool off between grindings. This particular grinder (the current one) is calibrated slightly differently, and to get coffee ground to the appropriate size for regular drip coffee I must set it far on the coarse end. That works fine, but I wonder about the difference between this grinder and the last.

I recently bought this Cuisinart Burr Mill grinder it had all the features that I was looking for however when you use it you need to take some kind of tape or something to put along the front of the basket the hopper that the grounds go in because it will literally spray the grounds out in front all over the counter. have I known this I would never wasted my money.

Works well. Looks good on the countertop. I like that it holds several days worth of beans in the top. Makes more noise that our older grinders. A little messy as the ground coffee has a lot of static electricity & some small ground pop out when you open the bin that holds the ground coffee. Still like it.
