it works well and i can get a consistent grind, however, it is extremely difficult to clean. with no way to remove the burr inside of the machine, i have to spend around an hour each time i grind beans trying to scrape as much as i can out, and i usually end up giving up and settling even though it’s not clean. little nooks and crannies deep in the machine makes it impossible to fully clean

I like the size and the ease of cleaning the washable parts; although I do use a toothpick to clean the non washable part as it does clog up easily and I usually has to use the brush to dislodge the coffee whole grinding a couple of times per every 8 oz of coffee beans.

I bought this about a month ago and am really happy with the performance of the machine. I use a coffee press so I need to get a course grind. This machine has so many choices of grinds and it measures the amount of coffee for the amount of cups you want. I love it!!!!

Loud and takes 5x longer than the Krups and Bodum unit it replaced. The grounds stick to the receptacle and when I go to dump them out, they spray out due to electrostatic repulsion all over my coffee maker. If I could return it with little inconvenience, I would.

I love having fresh ground coffee at home. The large bean hopper is fantastic. It looks great on my coffee station with my cuisinart coffee maker and keurig. The one issue is that it is extremely loud when grinding. This is my first grinder, so I'm not sure if that is normal or not. Other than the decibel level I am extremely happy with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this because my last grinder broke. I surely wish I would've known about this one much sooner. This thing rocks TOTALLY. Not as loud as by older one, but much, much smoother in grinding coffee much better. I really like the multiple adjustments to select which type of grind you care for. I am so thrilled with the functionality of this grinder. WAY TO GO CUISINART!!

Coffee ground output is dusty, which makes for problems when brewing. Also makes for problems when transferring the grounds to the filter. Also, the slider quantity is a little on the light side vs the # of cups of coffee made. For example, the slider should be at 6 (or more) for 4 cups brewed. That said, it's very convenient to be able to store a lot of beans in there and adjust the slider for the # cups being brewed. One will likely have to adjust the setting for machine / technique / preference anyway, so having a reference point is very nice.

Excellent coffee grinder! Adjusting the level of the grind is easy. Operation is smooth and I love that you just start the grinding and then it automatically finishes the cycle (you don't need to hold down the button the whole time). The design is sleek with the black and brushed chrome - it looks great on the counter. A bit more expensive than other grinders, but worth it for quality and performance.

The noisiest grinder I have ever come across. More than a blender. Takes long and also it's very HARD to empty the receptacle onto the coffee machine. Bad design. I work with it because I love coffee. But I wish I could return it, keep getting dissapointed by the bran's products.; Pans I bought are horrible also. Cheaper stuff for kitchen is better than this brand hands down. It's all Marketing.

Moved to America from Italy. Couldn’t find coffee that was hitting the spot. My husband thought a coffee grinder would solve all of our coffee problems. I wasn’t convinced. However, after seeing this machine do its thing and tasting the coffee… this was a fantastic decision. The coffee grinder is easy to use, it looks nice on the counter, and you can’t beat the smell it produces while grinding the coffee beans. I’m convinced the coffee actually tastes better. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
