This grinder was purchased in January 2021. It worked great for about 4 months, then gradually ground less and less coffee each time the button was pushed. Eventually, when set on the highest setting of 18, it ground about a teaspoon of coffee at a time. I kept pushing the button and eventually, it just shut down. We are pretty bummed out. I am now using the dreaded pre-ground coffee and shopping for another coffee grinder.

A bit loud but grinds well and pleased for the job it does however, the coffee grinds container is very static and the coffee grinds tends to stick and act wild within the statically charged container which is plastic. I use my stainless steel frosting spatula to tame or to gather and scrap off grinds from plastic sides. The statically charged coffee grinds will jump out of the container at times or when you try to scoop some out of the container. The other issue about the container is how cumbersome it is to put back or take out the container from the grinder machine. It has a very tiny "catch" mound that clicks when you insert the container correctly but if you don't, it won't go into the dock correctly which at times can be frustrating. Anyway I know what to do to be able to use it right so as long as it makes good grinds, I plan to keep it.

Pros: Adjustable coarseness allows for drip, espresso, and french-press grinds. Creates a very even grind regardless of coarseness setting. Easy to use grind amount adjustment, and fillable hopper for beans. Cons: Very loud and takes a while to grind a 12-cup amount (but not too bad on either account). The main issue is the grounds receptacle. The plastic receptacle gets static-y so the finer grinds kinda get everywhere and the lid holds onto a lot of grounds as well. It is also a bit fussy when trying to replace in the grinder. If Cuisinart could improve the receptacle on this grinder, it would be a 5-star piece for sure

The mill gives me a wide range of grinds. It also grinds just as much as I need for my regular coffee brews. I make Expresso and the mill gives me just the right grind for that. The clean up is a bit of a task but the benefits are worth the time. Over all, I am VERY pleased with my Burr Mill!

I like everything about this grinder except the slider that controls the amount of cups (grind time). It is very loose and does not stay in the position I set. As a result, the volume of grounds may vary between too little and too much. Aside from that, I like the look and function of the unit. For the price, I would recommend this grinder with a "heads-up" about the slider/timer.

I love this grinder. The only drawback is that the coffee builds up so much static electricity that it clings to the container. However, I have found that if you remove the container and let it sit for five to ten minutes the electricity will dissipate. A very minor issue!

I received this as a Christmas gift. I'd reviewed it earlier and most of the complaints were about static electricity in the grind hopper. This is a widespread problem with coffee grinders. Remedy is to take a teaspoon, wet the handle and stir around your preground beans.

We bought this to replace an old grinder. This one works well, easy to fill and the dial allows you to change the settings easily. Only complaint is that the ground coffee is difficult to pour into the filter. It tends to compact, so I have to take it over to the sink and tap it a couple of times to loosen it up.

Cup measurement is not accurate, the 18 cup setting only produces enough grounds for 12 cups. This is my third one of these, and the quality seems to go down with each iteration. They don’t last as long and don’t work as well as the ones they sold 10 years ago.

Great gadget! Convenient and efficiently grinds the beans to your desire with the push of a button. Love that you can load the hopper and the beans stay fresh while in there. Only con, it’s a little loud. Makes me wonder if the Java or the sound is waking people up in my house?! Overall, great purchase and product, I’d recommend it!
