I received this grinder as a gift and I'm really enjoying it. I use a manual grinder from time to time so this burr grinder is a great change. I wouldn't give up my manual grinder but this Cuisinart I would definitely recommend. I think the only drawback is its very loud.

I really like my burr mill. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it creates a lot of static electricity in the ground coffee, and when you try to empty the ground coffee, it gets quite messy due to the static electricity generated. I have learned how to control the mess, and otherwise I love the mill. There is lots of grind settings and the grind is consistant, and I love that you just his the start button and don't have to hold it down for the grind to complete. Super simple to use. You can also grind a lot of beana at one time, which is helpful for serious coffee drinkers like my family is.

Excellent precision grinder, very convenient- large hopper and easy to use. Just set desired amount and it does the rest. Then just dump it into the basket without measuring. I like the ability to adjust and fine tune the grind levels as found it make a difference in the taste. Took 1 star off as it is kinda loud and as the first one up like to keep things quiet.

I have had it for a couple of months. Works well, it is noisy as all burr grinders are. It is a bit messy but with experience no too messy. You can only really use one type of bean in the machine. Changing to a different bean (decaf for example) is technically difficult. All that said I would buy it again. It works well and is a good value.

I am a admitted newbie at grinding my own beans. I'm not sure the coffee is any better but it does add a newly-adopted sophistication in the kitchen. My girlfriend seems to be impressed anyway. After a few test grinds, I found out which one worked best in the K-cup brewer and I've been happy. I saw complaints about coffee dust clinging to the sides and getting the countertop messy. Please! It's the kitchen! A damp paper towel wipes up the coffee dust. The grinder cleaned-up well and stored away nicely. It takes about 3-4 hopper fulls to grind a lb. of coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my grinder 3 weeks ago and I'm very pleased with it. My new favorite coffee comes in whole beans only, so I had to buy a grinder to get that good stuff into my cup. The grinder is easy to use and it's compact and modern-looking...very attractive, for a small appliance. I like that I can adjust the grind size (coarse to fine) to my exact preference. It's rather loud, but it is a metal blade whirring through fairly large dried beans, so that's understandable. I grind enough beans to fill my K-pod 2 or three times and don't notice any deterioration of the flavor after it has been in the hopper a day or two. Great purchase...I would recommend.

Beans seem to get stuck in the hopper and you need to shake the machine every now and then to get the beans grinding again. A little messy taking the grounds out of the grounds container. But overall strong motor so I can grind enough coffee to fill my one pound can.

I have made this purchase three times because I thought I kept purchasing a defective item but the cup measurements for the coffee grind are totally off. If I set my coffee grinds for 8-10 cups I may get coffee beans grind for four cups. I do not recommend this product because it’s very frustrating when you’re trying to make a large pot of coffee and you have to grind coffee beans until you get the amount you want it’s defeating the purpose. I replaced my other coffee grinder with this CUISINART brand, which is more expensive than my original one and my old one works a heck of a lot better than this product. I’m very disappointed especially with the price I paid for this and I can’t get a descent measurement for making four, six, eight, or ten cups of coffee.

We love this grinder. At the beginning getting the coffee was messy and kind of irritating. But once we figured out how to keep the coffee from getting everywhere it has been the perfect addition to our kitchen. Grinds the perfect amount and it’s wonderful getting fresh ground beans, daily.

I was a little skeptical about going to an electric grinder without paying a lot for them. I was concerned that the noise level was going to be too loud with this particular model which one review had stated. But it is not. I find it to be not that loud at all. So far the performance has been great. I wasn’t sure what static meant, but I do understand it now. I can’t really give my opinion on this given the fact that I am a novice, and yes, this does appear to have static where the coffee clings to the sides of the chamber. And I’m very happy with the grind. I like the versatility that I can change easily from an espresso to a pour over grind, and produce a really good cuppa coffee. Plus the machine is not all that big and I don’t mind it on my counter.
