Makes a lot of noise, like a toy. I’ve worked as a barista in several restaurants, and this is basically a toy. It overheats and smells like something is melting inside, possibly the drive belt. Don’t expect Cuisinart quality, those days are gone. This is just OK, but extra-fine espresso appears in the mouth of the collection bin on any setting which means it will burn out.

Hi, my son gave me the grinder as a token for helping him fixing a customer car. I like the grinder in overall, but when the grinder is grinding it makes a big mess. Afterwards, I have to clean coffe grounds off the counter. Am I doing something wrong? I followed all the instructions. Please let me know if this is a bug that needs to corrected. I feel embarace when I have company and I offer coffe and while the grinder is working, there is coffe coming out of the scoop area. Please let me know what you can do for me. I love the ability to have so many setting to grind my beans. It also allows me to grind just for one cup up to a bunch, about 16 I think. Since I’m the only one drinking coffee I usually set it between 4-8 so I don’t have to ru it often but the beans are relatively freshly ground. I saw complaints about the machine causing a mess but I haven’t had any problems. I cup that receives the ground coffee should be snuggly coupled to the grinder, it sort of clicks when properly inserted. Grinding coffee is not quiet but I’m sure that is to be expected. Love my new grinder.

This is a great grinder! I have had a few different styles that were cheap and you needed to measure the beans depending on how many cups you’re making. I am so happy I found this one-it’s the best! No guess work as to how many beans to grind. You simply set the dial for the type of grind you want and how many cups of coffee you are making. One push of a button and it does the rest! Very easy to clean too. I love it!!!!

Been using this for a month or so, took some experimenting to achieve the right measurement of beans to grind coarseness. The grinder is loud but effective. The exit opening for the ground beans to the container needs to be brushed out after each use to prevent dust buildup. An easy and quick task with the supplied brush. I found the grinding to be a bit uneven. But i do like the coffee it helps me brew.

My first Cuisinart coffee grinder faithfully provided me freshly ground coffee for over seven years. It was versatile, easy to use, and handsome. I was disappointed when it stopped working recently, but I was determined to replace it with the same model. I’m glad to have the exact same model on my baker’s rack and look forward to several years of delicious coffee made from the coffee ground by my new Cuisinart Supreme Coffee Grinder.

My only criticism is the lack of a proper seal on the storage bin/hopper. It holds a week or more supply of beans which lose freshness quickly. A light proof airsealed container would make it perfect. I also had to figure out how much to use by weighing the amounts dispensed to determine the setting for my preferred cup strength.

This grinder is capable of grinding finer than store commercial grinders. It is loud and takes time to get a fine grind but the result is premium. I find the build to be very sturdy and it is easy to operate and use. It does not take up much room on my counter.

Works great but doesn’t last. I’m on my third. They stop working after a while. They won’t turn on after a while as if the automatic switch goes bad or the ground coffee container interlock goes bad. Same exact failures in both cases. But while it works , it’s great!

We purchased this coffee grinder to replace our old one that finally quit functioning. We like that you can select how fine you wish to grind your coffee beans. This new coffee grinder is quieter than our previous one which lasted many years. I really like the design of the product and it looks very nice on my kitchen counter.
