Supreme grinder auto burr mill is convenient & doesn't take much counter space. One must experiment with the grind selection & desired # of cups to produce your favorite Java taste in your cup of Joe. I live in a dry climate, if you do as well, get ready for a mess when pulling the grind chamber away & empty the coffee grinds. To mitigate the grinds flying everywhere, as you pull the grind chamber away, place your free hand over the receiving hole. Set the chamber down, keeping your hand over the hole, gently tap on the chamber's top & sides to encourage the grinds down. Remove the lid. Gently pour the grinds into your coffee maker of choice or grinds storage container. With a pastry brush, clean out the grind chamber & return the chamber to the mill after cleaning the base & grind release area with the cleaning brush provided with the mill. If you live in a humid environment, you may have less flyaway with the coffee grinds releasing from the grind chamber.

Wonderful product, I wish I'd found it years ago. It's great for all the coffees I make, Cold Brew & French Press (coarse), Drip (medium), Espresso (fine). For years I used my blade grinder and it was a constant guessing game and very messy but not anymore. I love Cuisinart's burr coffee grinder.

I bought this grinder about a month ago. Love all the grind settings and brew strength. I would give it 5 stars, but the static electricity and plastic conailer make it difficult to get all of the coffee out without using a brush to sweep it. Great grinder!

Bought the burr mill to replace an old blade style grinder. Like the ease of use and the unit performs well. My only wish is the collection cup was stainless steel instead of plastic. The static electricity build up makes getting the coffee out a problem.

Cuisinart has historically proved itself to be an exceptional brand. This is my second grinder. The first lasted 10 years, always operating at peak performance. The different grinding levels produce a precise grind based on how its set. Other than the removing the catch basket, I never had to take it apart to clean although it's easy to do if necessary. The grinder is an extraordinary product. You will be very pleased with the purchase.

I’m very pleased with the capacity of the hopper and the high number of settings to grind from fine to coarse. It remains steady on the counter while working without my two hands keeping it in place. It creates a lot of static, so it’s difficult to contain all the coffee dust, but I don’t know if anyone has come up with a solution for that. I have to work pretty hard to get it completely clean when I’m finished, but the included brush gets into most of the tight spots. I’m satisfied with the product and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates the effort it takes to make an excellent cup of coffee.

I did a lot of research on Burr grinders before I decided on this Cuisinart. It is so easy to use, it's automatic grinding so I don't have to figure out how long to grind the beans for the proper consistency, AND there's absolute no mess. I LOVE IT and I'm glad I took the time to do my research and read all the reviews. THIS IS THE BEST ONE! And coincidentally it is the same brand as my Cuisinart coffee maker. I'm in coffee heaven. If it matters, this is not a particularly quiet grinder but I've never found any grinder that is quiet - blade or burr.

Materials have a very good Quality, the size and grinding speed are enough for a home usage. One major compalint: the "fine" grinding level is not correct. It's not useful to prepare espressos because the size of the grind remains as "fine Pepper grinding" and creates a lot of husk that has to be scrapped and makes more complicated the cleaning of the device. I won't buy it again because of the non correctly set up of the fine grinding.

Yes, my first Cuisinart Automatic Burr Mill last me 20 years, and I was grinding my coffee beans every 2 weeks. The grind for my first, and the grind for the Mill that I just purchased is just perfect. It produces the grind that I would expect that correlates to the desired setting of grind.

I had been using an old spice grinder for a long time. I like to buy whole coffee beans and grind on my own. The grinder is easy to use, the coffee has a much better taste and there is no sediment of coffee in my pot! As usual, Cuisinart has delivered another great product! I also love that it has a automatic turn off when the proper amount is done.
