This burr mill fills my needs and is a good choice for the price point. It replaces a 5-6 year old model (same one) that had a motor burn out. Should have lasted longer. I grind my beans daily, and the settings easily allow me to choose the grind and the quantity. The top bean reservoir is sufficient -- any larger would be too much. The biggest ding is the plastic bin for the ground coffee: static electricity is a problem, causing cling. Cleaning is simple enough. I don't put the plastic parts in the dishwasher, preferring to wash them by hand. Cleaning the shoot from the grinder is easy.

I have a few issues, but none of them are enough to make me return the grinder. The beans do not feed evenly into the hopper and I have had to tap it to get the beans to fall in better. The grinder has a very high pitch when grinding. The slide that determines how many cups I am grinding is very flimsy. The coarse grind isn't coarse enough for my preference for cold brew.

The grind dial works very well and the convenience of the hopper makes life easier in the morning when all you have to do is press a button. I’ve taken a star away because of the design of the container that holds the ground coffee. It’s unnecessarily messy and frustrating to have to wipe up grinds every time I remove the top to scoop the ground coffee. Other than that, everything else works great.

I think that the Burr Mill I received is defective. No matter how I set it, there are clumps of powered coffee bean in the receptacle and it sounds strange when it is on. I had a previous Burr Mill given to me as a gift over ten years ago and it worked great until it finally quit. This new one has been a huge disappointment.

I was hesitant buying this because I've tried other brands and types of coffee grinders, not liking any of them. I've used this for 2 months now and love it. Not only can you choose the coarseness but you can select how much to grind at one time. I grind the amount I need for each time I brew. I am surprised at how much better the coffee tastes too when you grind it just before you use it.

Just perfect for my needs..love the fine to coarse grind selection. Fits perfectly in the spot I have selected on the cabinet without taking up alot of room. I have seen other reviews that it is loud when grinding but to me it is not. I just love everything about it and it compliments my Cuisinart coffee maker that I have had for years and still going strong!!!

I received this grinder as a gift and I'm really enjoying it. I use a manual grinder from time to time so this burr grinder is a great change. I wouldn't give up my manual grinder but this Cuisinart I would definitely recommend. I think the only drawback is its very loud.

This is the best type of coffee grinder. The grind is consistent where with other types it has varying grinds and not consistent. If you want fine, you get all fine, if you want coarse, it’s all coarse. I’ve wanted one of these for a long time...it was worth the wait.

I purchased this burr mill several months ago based on a friend’s recommendation. The price was reasonable. We enjoy buying different beans and making French press coffee. I usually fill several 16 oz glass jars at a time with the milled coffee so I’ll grind some beans once a week. The settings are easy. The transfer can be messy so I use a jar funnel. Cleaning the collection cup is fairly easy. I don’t clean the bean container every time. Took me a bit to figure out how to remove. Turn it counter clockwise and it is soon loose. One thing to note is the need to frequently clean the output spout. Otherwise it will clog up. This probably depends on the oiliness of your beans. it takes up very little counter space. Enjoy!

Great grinder except for the plastic grind cup static electricity issue. After top removed and while scooping out or pouring from cup, enough grounds to make a mess come flying out and stick to everything close by, including outside of cup. Should be made of metal.
