I used to buy Starbucks Travelers every Sunday for church. I decided to buy a coffee urn and make the coffee myself. I soon found out I needed to buy a coffee grinder so I could grind the beans on a course setting. I bought this Cuisnart Coffee Grinder Supreme Grind and it does exactly what I needed it to do. Very easy to use and I would highly recommend it!

I didn’t know there was a difference between a blade grinder and burr grinder until I did some research. I decided to order the Cuisinart Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill. What a difference in the flavor of my coffee! So much better with the burr grinder. An evenly smooth taste with more depth of flavor. I’ll never go back!

Overall this is a good coffee mill, and I'm satisfied with the purchase. I've only been using this for a few weeks, so I have no idea how it will hold up over time. What do I like? Price and size. What don't I like? None of these are major issues. The mill has a wide variety of grind settings, but I don't notice that big of a difference between fine and coarse. The grocery store mills seem to do a better job of differentiating between fine and coarse grinds. The milling process seems to generate a lot of static that results in a bit of a mess when transferring the fresh grind to my coffee maker. It seems to want to fly all over the place, so I'm constantly wiping my counter. Maybe this is common with other grinders as well, so I can't say for sure that this is a unique problem of this mill. My work around is to mill enough coffee at a time for several batches of coffee and store it in a canister.

I bought this inexpensive automatic burr coffee grinder and have been very happy with it. I can adjust the grind fineness as well as the amount of coffee it will grind. I press a button and it grinds that amount. So simply and produces awesome ground coffee.

This burr grinder works, but has many issues that make it such that I don't recommend it. It's slow and loud. Even at the most course setting, it grinds part of the beans so fine that they actually float on air when trying to pour them into the coffee machine and if you aren't really careful, get all over the machine and counter. The ground beans also cling to the grind cup and are a pain to get completely out. We use pretty oily beans and that makes it even worse. Aesthetically, the bean hopper is round at the bottom, but graduates to square at the top. When the grinder is set to the middle setting the holder looks fine, but any other setting makes it look out of line. In the past we tried a Capresso non-conical burr grinder similar to this. It had the same problems. We have pretty much gone back to our old fashioned Krups.

We just purchased our second Cuisinart burr grinder in the last 5 years. We bought the 2nd one as the 1st one we were having issues with the start switch. This one the beans are not feeding into the grinder therefore causing the grinder to go into a high speed mode. There must be issues with this grinder if it is being discontinued.

I really like my mill. The only thing I am having a problem with is when I pull out the ground coffee and remove the lid it makes a mess. The ground coffee seems to stick on the lid of the container and spills on counter. Otherwise, I love it. It fits perfectly on my counter next to my coffee maker, doesn’t invade too much space and looks nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A compact well-designed burr grinder. Attractive on the counter in glossy black. Not terribly loud as it grinds but it is a bit noisy first thing in the morning. The coffee grounds tend to stick alongside the walls of the clear box in the base, but they give you a brush tool that easily sweeps the grinds out into your coffee filter.

I love our Cuisinart burr coffee grinder! We use the fine grind for espresso coffee, and I love that each grind choice has several options for fine tuning the grind you want. It is a breeze to load the beans, and there is also a choice for how long you want to grind the beans. This is an attractive and powerfulI coffee grinder that I highly recommend!

I generally grind course for cold brew and french press brewing. I’m happy with the grind, I do get some fine powder but it’s usually on top and I scoop it out with a fork before using my grounds. I’m happy with it I use it at 1-2 times a week and it stores nicely
