This burr grinder is absolutely perfect if you use a French press coffee maker! We’ve been so pleased by how it automatically grinds the exact amount you need for a pot, and by how well the coarse grind option works for a French press. It is beautifully made and makes a satisfying “click” when you place the coffee container back in the grinder...

I have had other burr mills and this one gives consistently medium sized granules for drip/percolator coffee makers (not an easy task). Couple that with the fact that you cannot only chose the coarseness of the grind but also chose the amount of coffee to be grinded in regards to the amount of coffee you wish to make, makes this burr machine a winner on so many points. Highly recommend.

We previously had a Cuisinart coffee maker with a built-in grinder. We decided to try buying a separate grinder with settings to grind the coffee just as we wished. This was a perfect choice--easy to use and efficient. We have loved ability to grind coffee at just the right coarseness. It is so easy to set up and use, as well. Highly recommend.

Grinds bean nicely, and easily adjusts to the right grind. The static the machine creates can be messy though. I found that if you grind the beans and let them set for a while before opening the hopper to scoop your coffee it is much less messy. I wish the hopper was made of aluminum instead of plastic.

This is my second-generation Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill. The first one lasted me 9 years, but the teeth were starting to wear down. I didn't hesitate to buy another one. It is an excellent value and will give you many years of excellent service.

I’m a French press every morning kinda gal and this grinder works perfect! It truly has made a difference in the taste and quality of my coffee. I had a basic grinder for years. I didn’t know what I was missing. You set the grind to what kind of coffee you are making and the amount according to the size of your press or carafe. I’ve many Cuisinart small appliances and they’ve all been great!

Love this burr mill. Replace an old coffee grinder. The old grinder always had grounds in multiple sizes and I felt like I had to use extra coffee to get a good cup. The burr mill has consistent sized grounds and produces a more consistent quality pot of coffee using fewer beans. Also love that I don't have to measure and I can just fill the hopper and get a few pots before I have to refill.

This is the third one of these that we've bought. First two lasted between 2 & 3 years - first one a screw came out of the grinder assembly and jammed the whole thing. The second one, yes I bought another thinking it was a fluke..., lasted about 2 years and then one morning it started running slow then stopped during mid-grind. I smelled something akin to burned up motor so threw that away. So, I did my research and this model was still a good price (with a coupon) and about half the cost of my next choice, so yes, one more try. I am a big Cuisinart fan so trust me, that's the only reason I have #3!

The grinder works just fine, but when grinding cold coffee beans on fine grind setting, the delivery port stops up and must be unclogged before finishing the grind of beans loaded in the hopper. My old Cusinart grinder would complete grinding a full hopper of beans before having to empty the receiver of the ground coffee. Is it possible to still get the design of 16 years ago?

It works great! My only complaint is when you remove the coffee from the grinder fine particles of grounds fall out and go all over the place. To keep things from making a mess, I have a paper towel under it. I also am very careful when taking out the coffee bin.
