[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat is a very picky eater. Sometimes she loves fishy cat food flavors, other times not so much. Even when she is in a mood for fishy flavors, she never used to like this one. I picked it up by mistake and tried it. Now she loves it! I have to stop her from trying to eat it out of the can before I can scoop it out onto a plate!

I don't know what Friskies has done to some of these Pate' flavors, but my cats will not eat it anymore. These are, or were, their their favorites, but in the last 6 months, they refuse to touch it now. They aren't being finicky. Something has changed with the food. Ocean Whitefish, Turkey, Poultry Platter, Chicken and Tuna and few others. Purina, what did you do?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats are chicken lovers, so I knew to buy this food when I saw it. I love the value of food for the price. 5.5 oz makes the cans last longer and my cats love the food so it's awesome for both of us. I mix with water and serve.

My cat used to exclusively eat this flavor. The recipe changed. Now my cats refuses to eat it. Before the pate was moist and had a fish smell to it. Now it is much dryer, like Play-Doh and seems to have little, if any, fish due to its lack of a fish smell.

The ocean whitefish & tuna dinner is different now and my cat won't eat it. It was the ONLY food she would eat now she refuses. It looks different (no gravy & is a weird color). It smells different too. Why did it change and when will it be changed back?

I've recently switched them over to a wet food only diet and the 5.5 oz cans are perfect to split between my 4 cats during meal times. They've all been doing quite well on this.

Thrnothern3 cats I also feed are stray and I mix it w dry food. Ir can get a little pricey but its worth it to feed them. They love coming fir breakfast and dinner. Friskies sponsor us 🙏😻

We have 3 cats, and they all used to LOVE the 'ocean whitefish with tuna' - it was one of their favorites! But now, as other comments have mentioned, the new 'recipe' in the new yellow can with the new design is bad!! You can clearly see and smell that it is different. NONE of our cats will eat it! They smell it and walk away. Even our one cat who will eat practically anything turns up his nose at it! We used to buy the larger cans in this flavor for them, but now no more. We're trying to find any stores that still sell the old style large blue can, but so far no luck. Otherwise we'll have to get the smaller can - unless that's changed, too. The smaller cans also aren't as good of a deal, and disappear quicker with 3 cats. Even the larger cans are getting very expensive at certain stores, compared to dog food. And if what we're paying for is bad and not eaten by our cats then it's all the more unreasonable. This is unacceptable! We are very disappointed Friskies!!! Bring back the old recipe!!!!!

I am not sure if something changed in the classic pate, however my cat used to inhale the food when I put it down for her. Now, she walks over to the food sniffs it and walks away. I noticed that the label on this food is a yellow label now and it has just pate on it and not classic pate. I would be willing to pay more for the food if it was the original classic pate recipe.

When I got my new box I noticed there was a new flavor. Since I have a cat who has food allergies, I checked the ingredients. The ingredients listed on this website does not list wheat gluten or soy flour so I assumed the food would be safe for my cat. Thankfully, I double-checked the Purina website which does list wheat gluten and soy flour in the ingredients for the new flavor Glaz'd and Infuz'd Chicken. I'm disappointed that food allergies in pets are not taken as seriously as food allergies in people.
