Catch of the day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sphynx is totally approved of this one. It does have that seafood smell to it so if you can't stand, the smell of seafood, don't buy it. The babies ate it they liked it. It makes them a little gassy. I think that's just seafood in general for Sphynx's. They liked the gravy that's in it. The consistency is really nice. It's a true pate so they approved so it will go to the rotation not as frequently as the chicken or the turkey because the smell is very strong but it's probably why they like it so much

FRISKIES MARINERS CATCH PATE CAT FOOD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12 year old cat Posie really likes Purina Friskies Mariner's Catch pate style wet cat food. It's easy for him to chew and he seems pretty enthusiastic when he gets it. Five stars! Thank you Purina.

why did you change the formula and the can color?

My Siamese will only eat this in the blue cans, the new yellow labeled cans she won't touch. The new formula smells different and has a different texture. I went to stores and bought all the blue cans they had left. She wont eat any other kind of cat food. Don't know what to do!

Smell the ocean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time we have tried this one. If you do not like the smell of seafood, this is not for you. The Sphynx's liked it they ate it, and it made him a little gassy. But all in all they really liked the flavor so I will buy it again just not as frequently.

Something is wrong

I buy the 48 case of mixed food for my cats. They all have different tastes on what they really like to eat.  Lately, in the last two cases that I have bought, the Classic Pate Mixed Grill has been like soup.  There is so much liquid in the cans and hardly any food that my cats have refused to eat them.  Such a waste!  What happened to the food?

Changed formula ??

have fed this for several years and most recent purchase stinks. Must have had to cheapen your formula like most other companies these days. Texture is different and smell is disgusting to humans. Cats still eat it if really hungry but not first choice like it used to be.

Not so Much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pate is much more dry than most the others and has a thicker consistency. The cats don't seem to like it as well and don't finish the 5.5oz can. I've tried to add some water and it's improved slightly but they still don't finish the can. So it's either the consistency or taste they don't like.

Pate you know it, you love the ick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here's a review body to go with that great title: My cat absolutely goes wild for this pate when the can looks and smells fresh, he cleans the bowl without hesitation. However, I've noticed inconsistency between cans: some open up looking moist and smooth, while others seem older, with less liquid and a funkier texture. On those occasions, even my not-so-picky cat turns her nose up and walks away. When it's good, it's great

MIXED Grill - the one and ONLY!

Only thing my cats will eat. QUESTION:  Would you PLEASE consider changing label COLOR? A nice BROWN ["grill" color ;) ;) ] would be perfect because TOO MANY times we've grabbed chicken because it's the same color and/or because store employees get it mixed up too and stock it all in the same place. One last thing -- please DON'T add more "gravy!"  My cats need to "eat" not "drink" and I want to buy "food" not water!  I suggest people add water ('as instructed by their cats!') if they like a more soupy texture.

Horrible Texture

The most inconsistent texture in the world, Pate Indeed. There is so much fill or bonemeal or even sand in so much of this food that even neighborhood strays won't touch it. When it is good it is very very good, when it is bad it is HORRID. And a complete waste of money.
