We have contacted Friskies(Purina) via phone, email, and live chat. They all insist that no change has been made to the formula. Or they suggest that maybe it was one bad can...nope, we've opened and tried several. They all then insist that it must be our cat "showing their desire for something new or different by making noticeable changes in their feeding behavior, which may be refusing to eat their favorite food." Really? We have 3 cats. This used to be the favorite flavor of all 3 cats. Now, all 3 walk away from it. We can see and smell a difference, and our cats can clearly notice a difference, too. Even the feral cats in our neighborhood won't eat it! What does that tell you? We were fortunate to be able to find the old style blue cans at our local Dollar General. We just so happened to also have a can of the new changed yellow/gold can and label food. We compared the ingredients side by side - and it's official - there has definitely been a change made! Maybe it's not a major alteration as Purina would argue, but there is clearly a difference! Ingredients are listed in a different order, and certain ingredients are completely different. There are differences that are obvious enough to be noticed by our three cats, to the human eye, and, from other comments posted, many others as well. For Purina to claim that no change has been made is just not true. Our cats and I are extremely disappointed and disgusted with the new Ocean Whitefish and Tuna Pate cans! And, after our experience, I am very disappointed with Friskies and Purina! Perhaps we will be trying other brands of food for our cats.

We jokingly call this"kitty crack". Our Maine Coon cat Harper loves it so much that I have woke up with him standing on my chest meowing and patting my cheek when he thinks it is meal time. We feed him dry food also but he gets his special treat twice daily.

All opinions are my own.” My cat is family and what feed him is just as important as what I feed my children. Let me be honest my cat, he can be really picky when it comes to his food. He likes his food to be flavorful while I like him to get everything that he needs to be healthy. I gave him Purina Friskies Turkey and Giblets Dinner wet cat food. I have it to him mixed in with his dry food. He loved this flavor and ate it all up. I like that it gives him full balanced nutrition that he needs while also giving him vitamins, minerals, and essential taurine which is an amino acid. I will be adding this meal to his rotation in the future. #Sponsored

I keep the Mixed Grill on hand because when my kitties have an upset tummy, some days some things just don't agree with them, instead of them not eating anything, I give them the Mixed Grill. I do this because the Mixed Grill they seem to keep it in their tummies instead of bringing it back up. I guess it, "sticks to their ribs" so to speak. Even on days when they are doing great though, they love the Mixed Grill. My cats will bug me to give them the Mixed Grill.

Mariner's Catch Pate WAS a nightly ritual for our senior cat. All cans now have an expiration date of Feb 2024 and the cat won't even take a taste of it. Tried different cans and from different stores. Nothing. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY. Something is VERY WRONG with this product!

While they are not usually super picky on flavors there are some they will not eat and some they prefer more than others. I have to say this flavor was a hit and something they all seemed to really enjoy. The food is a pate which is like a loaf. It is pretty soft and mashes up pretty easily. Maybe I am the only one that chops their food up with a fork before serving. :D I also mix a little dry in with their moist food or serve it side by side in the bowl The moist on the left and the dry on the right in the same bowl. Yeah they are a little spoiled. :p This is a good flavor and I would recommend to other cat parents and will be purchasing in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kittens LOVE this pate. They come running when they see me pick up a can. They cannot wait to devour it for breakfast or dinner. I love that it doesn't smell fishy and that they eat it all up with no crumbs wasted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently I have noticed small pieces of bone in this pate and other Friskies varieties of pate. We feed our cat population the wet food once a day. We have over 100 cats presently and are concerned about the bone chips in the food.
