My cat was diagnosed as diabetic. My research showed that dry cat food is very high in carbs, but cats need low-carb, high-protein food. Friskies Pate-style wet cat food has been shown to be among the lowest in carbs, so I switched him to it. He is doing much better, and does not get insulin.

My sweet cat developed some health issues and would no longer eat crunchy food and some soft foods. I tried various soft foods and my cat loves the liver paté and a few others. I am so happy that she enjoys the Friskies' patés which have kept her healthy. Such a relief for me, too!

I cracked the can open and plopped it on a plate and the all came running! They ate every bit of itThey absolutely loved the pate liver and chicken dinner . I would highly recommend this wet food. I have 10 cats and they all prefer the pate varieties, fish flavors the best but they will eat the other meats also, i don't let them eat fish all the time and never let them have tuna, they will only lick off the gravy on the chunky gravy type food.

When you refrigerate the leftovers it still remains tender when using again. This product is priced fairly well and available in many different stores. Very convenient. This product comes in many different amount packages also.

I bought a can of this at my local Safeway and already my cat was skeptical about eating it. And just today as I am about to feed my cat the rest of the can I find a few pieces of a hard plastic material!!! I threw the rest of it away ASAP and now amd just worried about how much of this substance my cat has already consumed. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently I have noticed small pieces of bone in this pate and other Friskies varieties of pate. We feed our cat population the wet food once a day. We have over 100 cats presently and are concerned about the bone chips in the food.
