My cat is older and this is one of the few foods she enjoys. Lately, the quality has been inconsistent, sometimes very watery and other times completely dry. I also threw a new can in the trash today because I didn't like the noise the cat made when I opened it. It made a swoosh. The other can I opened did not. The can I threw away smelled bad, like bad fish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Molly loves all of the friskies flavors of cat food but mixed grill pate' she gobbles up as though it was about to be stolen from her! She also enjoys a bit of dry during the day to snack on! Friskies has made her a very happy kitty!

My cat has eaten Friskies pate for years. Early this year, you did something to change the formula and it was grayish and very dry… it was obvious you changed the recipe. My cat wouldn’t eat it. Then, a few weeks later, we tried again and the recipe was back to normal. Now, a few months later, you changed the recipe again but now it’s very watery, the loaf size is smaller, and the consistency is different. And, my cat won’t eat it! Stop messing with the formula!!! Go back to what it was prior to all the Covid supply chain issues. Everyone knows inflation is a problem right now. Stop trying to cut costs by changing the recipe. I’d rather pay the increased price for the original formula than pay vet bills because my cats are getting sick from the new formula and refusing to eat!

I’ve run out of Friskies and I’ve gone to our local convenient store to get some until I went to our grocery store. Worst mistake of my life! They would not touch it! And I have four cats all they did was scream and scream and circle around me until I went to the grocery store and got Friskies! It was something out of a horror movie! LOL! They will only eat the pate and they were only eat The ocean Whitehead and the salmon. People say my cats are Very spoiled. They are not spoiled they just have good taste!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 3 cats, and they all used to LOVE the 'ocean whitefish with tuna' - it was one of their favorites! But now, as other comments have mentioned, the new 'recipe' in the new yellow can with the new design is bad!! You can clearly see and smell that it is different. NONE of our cats will eat it! They smell it and walk away. Even our one cat who will eat practically anything turns up his nose at it! We used to buy the larger cans in this flavor for them, but now no more. We're trying to find any stores that still sell the old style large blue can, but so far no luck. Otherwise we'll have to get the smaller can - unless that's changed, too. The smaller cans also aren't as good of a deal, and disappear quicker with 3 cats. Even the larger cans are getting very expensive at certain stores, compared to dog food. And if what we're paying for is bad and not eaten by our cats then it's all the more unreasonable. This is unacceptable! We are very disappointed Friskies!!! Bring back the old recipe!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have literally spent thousands of dollars on Friskies cat food over the last 45 years and all of my cats have been and are fussy but I did find that for most of them this is a favorite flavor, even Spunky who turns his nose up at other good flavors the rest of the cats love, can't resist this one. Also, they prefer Pate' over the shreds. They are too lazy to chew and just want to gobble up the good taste!

please keep making this wet cat food, this is the only type my barn cat will eat. she lives in a very cold extreme environment! she does not eat fish or seafood at all. this is the only wet cat food that she will eat in the winter. it keeps her weight up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats have always gotten fed both canned and dry cat food. Gabriel is a bit picky and will only eat Friskies canned PATE'. He loves it! Especially the chicken and seafood flavors. With other textures, he licks the sauce off but leaves the chunks! I've always fed Friskies, canned and dry, to my furbabies and each has had a long healthy happy life. If they're happy and healthy, I'm happy!!
