Smells like p**p, cats always hungry, labels bad

This is a review for all the seafood pate flavors My cats have been eating all their lives. Now food stinks-- smells like p**p. Disgusting odor permeates house. Cats eat it and are crying from hunger within an hour. Used to last a day. What did you do? What animals are in this food now? I don't know what you did to this, but I'm very unhappy. Will probably go to Raw food diet now. And Label change is stupid. Now it's harder to figure which is which. Must be some sale on cheap yellow coloring. If it ain't broke, don't "fix it"

Excellent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pates are best for my cats. There is a lot of food in one of these cans opposed to other brands. It isn’t dry, and my cats actually eat the food instead of just licking the gravy and walking away! I would recommend this to other cat owners.

My Cats Only Eat Pate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For some reason, my cats will only eat *all* their food when I feed them pate (anything else they eat the sauce/gravy and leave the meat pieces), so that's the form of canned Friskies that I buy, and this flavor, along with other seafood/fish flavors, is among their favorites.

Doesn't seem like the cat's favorite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't eat the cat food myself, I can only document what I observe in my cats. This flavor has never been a favorite for my indoor picky cats. The outside feral cats appreciate anything. I would never buy the mixed grill flavor individually, but they are always in the multi packs.

Favorite flavor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 cats love this flavor--2 are feral cats who live on my screen porch. They are about 12-13 years old but still feral. Although they don't run when I feed them, they have never allowed me to touch them! (I trapped them years ago and had them spayed.) My 2 inside cats--aged 14 and 20 love Mixed Grill. I mix in a little water so it is easier for them to eat--and gets extra water in them. They are both very healthy.

They Eat It!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been buying the 32 pack of Poultry Pates. My cats will not eat shreds, flakes etc they lick the goody off and leave the food. Of the 4 in the pack they like the Liver and Chicken pate the best.

Friskies cat food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 indoor cats and about 30 feral I feed have been eating friskies since they were weaned, both canned and dry, and also your treats. They will not eat any other brand. The youngest are 4 months and oldest 2 are 19 yrs old, and very healthy.

Pleasantly surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats much to my surprise are not usually fans of anything fish based in their food. This mariners catch I was sure they would turn their nose up at. Well guess what? They loved this and all wanted more. It was nice and soft and not a hard pate which they are not fans of.

3 Cats & It's Unanimous-New Recipe/New Can-YUCK!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 3 cats, and they all used to LOVE the 'ocean whitefish with tuna' - it was one of their favorites! But now, as other comments have mentioned, the new 'recipe' in the new yellow can with the new design is bad!! You can clearly see and smell that it is different. NONE of our cats will eat it! They smell it and walk away. Even our one cat who will eat practically anything turns up his nose at it! We used to buy the larger cans in this flavor for them, but now no more. We're trying to find any stores that still sell the old style large blue can, but so far no luck. Otherwise we'll have to get the smaller can - unless that's changed, too. The smaller cans also aren't as good of a deal, and disappear quicker with 3 cats. Even the larger cans are getting very expensive at certain stores, compared to dog food. And if what we're paying for is bad and not eaten by our cats then it's all the more unreasonable. This is unacceptable! We are very disappointed Friskies!!! Bring back the old recipe!!!!!
