[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Friskies Mariner's Catch Wet Cat Food Pate' is a great choice to give your cat. The fish is an excellent source of protein for your pet. Plus it is balanced nutrition that you can give to kittens and older cat's.

I have adopted and raised over 200 cats over the course of my lifetime, and always fed them Friskies. Right now I have 15 cats all rescued. Each has a special story and the all love Friskies. There are three types they are not fond of but what one won't eat others will. They get dry food all day long but at night when I want them all in the house they know that's when they get their canned food; I have no problem getting them to come in. My cats are healthy, spayed or neutered, and happy. Friskies gets a great big 1000% from me and Patches, Wampy, Spooky, Callie, Pretty Kitty, Pauley, Pretty Boy, Bobbette, Maggie, Tommy, Little One, Molly, Scooter Poop, Harless, and Pettie.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been purchasing Purina products for quite some time now. We have 6 cats in the house. We've tried other brands that are less expensive, but they all prefer the Purina brand. At least we get what we pay for.

If I have a cheaper store brand and Friskies, my cats can immediately smell the difference. I have 12 cats and give them two of the big cans of canned food each day. If I use one cheaper brand, I feed that one first, then dish out the Friskies. They all come running for that! I will sometimes buy the smaller cans and serve a couple of those also. Sometimes, I just say the heck with it and grab all Friskies. They DO know the difference and love their Friskies. I am always on the lookout for coupons for Friskies wet food, but they really only like the pate, not the other kinds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not sure if something changed in the classic pate, however my cat used to inhale the food when I put it down for her. Now, she walks over to the food sniffs it and walks away. I noticed that the label on this food is a yellow label now and it has just pate on it and not classic pate. I would be willing to pay more for the food if it was the original classic pate recipe.

I sometimes notice a strong unpleasant smell when I open the whitefish and tuna cans. My cats will smell the can and pass it up, and one of them will try to bury the can...

In fact, out of all the flavors of pate that we buy her, the mixed grill is her favorite. She makes a pig of herself whenever we give this to her. She won't even share with our other female feline.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat, Missy absolutely loves her Ocean Whitefish and Tuna the best but she also loves EVERY other flavor that Friskies makes. I have tried to sneak in different cat food made by other brands because they were on sale and the names of the flavors were similar to the Friskies flavors. Well, as you can probably guess Missy would have none of that and was up to my trickery. Nothing, absolutely nothing gets past her and her cat food. So, lesson learned I don't feed her ANYTHING that isn't her Friskies! And her favorite dry cat food is: Friskies Ocean White Fish and Tuna flavor also! So if you want YOUR cat to be a very happy cat, Friskies should be the ONLY cat food that you feed your cat....and that advise comes straight from my cat, Missy!!

The top of the can is easy to open, and one container feeds both of my cats at breakfast. I do not like the label, however, as it's hard for me to read the ingredients. Black lettering on a dark background just isn't a good combination. *I received this item free for my review, however, all opinions are of my own.
